I heard Nova acquired new powers (or a new suit?) What's he like now?

Nova's power levels were recently quantified in one of the new Marvel Handbooks 9one with a power grid).

This seemed to suggest that he was now as strong as a calm hulk (just below the 100 tonnes limit), durability approaching that of the Hulk and Flight but he also now he could project potent energy blasts, open stargates, access the worldmind (an AI) for help/advice/training. There also appears to be more power to draw on (as he has all the power of the Nova corps to access) but this might have side effects.

Against WWH, I would back WWH if Nova does not access all the Nova power.

Unless specified, we use the current (current = their current power set at the time the thread was created) versions of the characters in question. Judging from the date, Nova had already acquired the full power of the Nova Corps. As for Hulk, the Savage version is always the standard version. Hence why the designations of WWH, or Grey, or the Professor are used 95% of the time to show otherwise. "

Nova, just has Hulk outclassed in powers.

Current Nova easily. I dobut that even WWHulk can do anything. Nova is FTL and can take planet busters. It is also proved that he has more power than Quantum Bands (of course not more than whole Q Zone).

Why was this bumped?

I've read every just about every thing Nova has been in. He's my favorite comic book character. It happens to be that Hulk is my second favorite. Now that Nova has full Nova force, he is crazy powerful. But I've never seen him do anything that lets him get anywhere near the 100 ton limit, except when he is flying, but that is just his momentum not his physical strength. If he is standing on the ground, I've never really seen him do much as far as super strength that is very impressive as compared to most heroes who have super strength.

If this is WWH, I would rate like this...

Durability - Hulk wins. Nova is very durable though with worldmind automatically directing the nova force to shields.

Regeneration - Hulk wins again. Nova's suit heals him pretty quickly, but nothing compared to Hulk.

Strength - Hulk. He almost broke Earth in half by taking three steps.

Fighting Skills - Nova because of worldmind. By the end of WWH, Hulk is close though.

Speed - Nova.

Range - Nova. He can direct a lot of power through either or both hands.

So the way I see it, 5/10 for both of them. If Hulk connects a punch while Nova is trying to rocket into him, Nova is KO'd. If Hulk gets his hands on Nova, that's a squished Nova. If neither of those scenarios happen Nova wins through a rocket into Hulks face. Given current Hulk's ridiculous durability I think Nova's energy projection would hurt Hulk, but if he doesn't finish it soon with a rocket to Hulk's head, it will just make Hulk madder and he will heal from it and be tougher to KO.

if it's in space, nova wins, not beause of power but beause of energy manipulation, and that Hulk has limited actions in space

if it's on ground, Hulk wins, he will just go World Breaker and blast Nova with his punchs

doesn't matter what hulk it is nova will just open a stargate inside hulk killing even WB hulk with ease.... nova 10/10

Nova he's just as strong if not stronger, more dutiable, and way faster.

its funny..hes not stronger than the hulk..hulk is literally the strongest mortal on earth....btw hulk fought nova and the secret avengers...and after he played them..nova couldnt even fight korg..whos stronger than the thing but weaker than the hulk....in recent times, the mad thinker even stated that the hulk's strength is incaculable....explain this...since nova is stronger than him..hes not....not even close to hulk's range in strength..with his flight he only has momentum..and speed..yet the hulk can still land a punch on him...around this time....hulk is not an idiot..he may be slow..but h e can think... so to all those nova fans..nopva isnt that strong..until i see him beatting down thor or the thing or any hulk or the hulk...dont speak about this..and btw dont say those hulk issues werent canon..cuz they were..and they werent pls...jerks

No one knows how much power Nova has after gaining all of the Nova force. He would go mad, that is why his full potential is incaculable also. If he could use all the power with no side effect it would be crazy. He is on the same level as silver surfer after getting the full Nova force. Worldmind is what limits his powers and keeps him from going mad.

Isn't Nova you know...too much for Hulk?

There's a mini-series Hulk vs Thanos coming out. I'd say Marvel thinks pretty highly of Hulk, and they don't think too many people/things/beings are "too much for Hulk".

Thanos will be, though. Just using that as an example.
