Nekron gets a very powerful follower.

Why so many votes for Nekron? What has he done that puts him above Odin?

@solarpowered: Almost killed all life in the universe? The fact that he's the physical manifestation of death in the DC universe thus making him immune to being hurt as far as Odin is concerned?

Leaning toward Nekron. He may be too much for Odin to handle considering his special abilities/persona.

@juiceboks: But he's the physical manifestation of Death. According to you, he controls what lives and what dies. Why could he not defeat Captain Atom? Apparently Nekron has fought evenly with some guy named Nebiros too, who had his skin flayed alive by Etrigan of all people. Now, again, I ask you, what has Nekron done feat wise that puts him on par with Odin?

@solarpowered: He has control over death, while the White Light controls life. Now of course he can challenge The Entity and was almost successful in killing all life in the universe, but that doesn't mean a powerful enough manipulator of creation energy ie Captain Atom or White Lantern Siniestro can't fight him. They both channeled the very energy that created life itself, so basically his opposite yet he was at best banished momentarily by them.

I don't recall Nekron ever fighting that demon, issue number? Like I said, he was going to destroy all life in the universe had it not been for Sinestro's timely bond with the White Light, he also overpowered the Spectre. Either one of these is well above Odin's paygrade.

Nekron chained the anti monitor and defeated the Spectre. He wins.

He never overpowered the Spectre. What are you talking about? The Spectre had no power over him because he has no soul.

Yes but Nekron has an unlimited amount of power.. Enough to surpass that of Odin.. He can easily kill guardians with a touch.. Nekron has too much power

Yes..he did. He banished him when Spectre tried to stop him but couldn't, and earlier became a black lantern himself.

• Hal Jordan revived Black Hand's heart and Nekron immediately lost.
• Hal Jordan got his ring back, reviving his body and Nekron immediately lost.

The trend is - if you can revive someone from death you can beat Nekron easily. Odin brought back Paris from the dead.

Nekron can't fight without a dead host, which Odin can easily revive and Nekron doesn't have the feats to phase Odin.

Nekron captured a badly injured / weakened Anti-Monitor after tanking war-world explosion and Super-boy Prime flying through his chest. Same Anti-Monitor nearly freed himself before the Lanterns shot him in the head killing him.

The Spectre jobbed.

This is a random encounter so Odin doesn't know to revive Nekron's host. Nekron should take this.

Spectre has power over people with souls. Nekron has no soul. What aren't you understand about this?

Nekron he took both the anti-monitor and spectre down jobbing or no there above odin.

Nekron oneshotted volthoom, a being who was feeding off of parallel realities of emotion, and no other lantern corps could hurt him, even sinestro forcing parralax to be his bitch. Also what is to stop nekron from summoning hordes of undead to distract or hold odin down

While odin has feats above universal and Nekron don't Nekron still should be supiror overall
