vs.
The two universes collide, which team comes out on top?
@BloodsunX: i thought tekken had characters that were some sort of gods, but idk, im mistaken, i guess
@fatalsniper728:
Tekken has characters like Ogre, Azazel, Mokujin, all the angel and devil incarnations, along with probably a few others which are extremely powerful. But as strong as those characters are, when put up against characters like Raiden, Shinnok, Fujin, Onaga, Shao Kahn, and the mulitude of other gods, sorcerors, and races, I think MK has the advantage in numbers as well as power and versatility.

Mortal Kombat stomp, the only threats are the Kazamas/Mishimas, Yoshimitsu, and Lars.
This...Raiden, Shao Kahn, Fujin, Ermac, Scorpion, Shujinko, Shang, Shinnok, Blaze and Onaga alone can take out most if not everyone in Tekken.....these characters alone have better feats then any Tekken character.
MK wins for sure here.
MK stomps.
MK has the most powerful broken characters in fighting games, even SF characters would get magic'd into hell and killed. Time travel, resurrection, flying, telepathy, universe shaping,mind control,rape, etc.
Shinnok, Onaga, Shao Kahn, Raiden > your favorite fighting game universe.

Mortal Kombat stomps Tekken. The only characters the would be a threat in Tekken are Mishima's, William's Sisters (Equipped with arsenals), The Ninja's Raven and Kunimitsu.. The Jacks and I guess you could throw Bryan, Alisa and Paul in there too. Paul is the hardest hitter in Tekken, but he still by most of the cast would get beat. Bryan and Alisa stand a good chance to to them being Androids they'd be able to go a few rounds with half the cast.. Mishima's including Lars would be 2nd tier fighters in Mortal Kombat. Below the gods but on par with Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. Jack's are quite powerful as well and them being able to fly also gives them a great advantage and I'm sure they have more weaponry we just dont see while they're fighting. William's sisters being Class-A assassins and always going at it with each other shows they could be a threat to the likes of anyone above or on par with Sonya and Jax's level of fighting. Raven, Kunimitsu and Yoshi we can practically put on par with the MK Ninjas due to them having multiple ways of attacking, evading attacks with jutsu's and other gimmicks. Yoshi is just very unpredictable as well as him being a Samurai Android. I also forgot to mention Feng-Wei. The guy punched a Volcano Boulder into pieces with ease as well as in Tekken 5 destroying a mountain with his elbow also with ease. Aside from those characters, I can't say that all of the rest of the Tekken cast would get blown up by everyone in Mortal Kombat. Johnny cage is human with the fact that yeah he has Shadow moves and a Plasma ball he can shoot but I can see him fighting someone like Bruce, or Sonya fighting Dragunov or Jax fighting Armor King. But when you throw in the Gods such as Raiden.. Fuujin.. Khan and Onaga then it gets out of hand hell actually the monsters of MK is where it really gets out of hand with Sheeva, Motaro, Molach and Kintaro. In the end The MK cast is just to much, Gods can even be powerd by Elder Gods such as Raiden in the last MK as he was fighting Khan. It just gets overwhelming in the end for Tekken they're mostly human level fightingers and not fighting people with Magic, Sorcery, and Zombies as opponents Lol. MK WINS, but not a flawless victory

what advantages would tekken have ?
Tekken's rank and file normal fighters likely have an advantage but once we start talking about the heavy hitters, MK pulls ahead handily.

The fighters in Mortal Kombat are significantly more skilled than anyone in Tekken. Tekken Fighters can Dodge bullets and survive massive falls and explosions. MK fighters go splat often with fairly short falls and small explosions. I think the best in MK would take out the best in Tekken only due to their magic and special abilities. Without those powers, Tekken wrecks MK with relative ease, they are way too fast, about equally as physically strong in some cases with most MK fighters, but significantly more durable.
gotta love the mk supporters neglecting the fact that heihachi survived such an immense explosion, that his body was hurled into the horizon miles and miles away into the sky, then landed on solid brick and ground through the ground, surviving it....Lars casually dodging bullets and Fang punching people so hard into large trees that is just snaps in half (not to mention Kazuya picking up a huge tree trunk and hurling it at Jin and Heihachi )
all that means nothing to MK fighters apparently, who splatter on the floor when falling from a 100 feet up or so, get burnt alive often and cannot survive small explosions. Pfft, what do I know? Only the truth, I guess.

Many characters in MK can teleport and invisible, Quanchi can control his enemys bodies for some time, scorpion can BFR other people to another dimension, Reptile is FASTER than bullets,a EXPLOSION powerfull enough to destroy a big temple(big enough to put thousands of soldiers inside) couldn't even scratch Onaga, Raiden can send a message to past if they lose.
Yeah survive a explosion is indeed a small feat
Also MK fighters get hit with flamethrowers, Pistols and mp5 bullets, granades, acid, knifes and swords, thunders many times and continue fighting@JinSlayerX said:
Tekken gets under-estimated as usual

MK has reality warpers. Tekken loses. Love Tekken but they are outclassed badly.
LOL at Tekken fans getting butthurt and bragging about explosion feats, those are cute but none of that stops them from getting stomped. Tekken fighters have no answer for certain MK fighters like Quan Chi who can mind control any of them into killing them selves and reserrect ANY dead fighters to fight for the MK side with all their abilties intact.
Raiden blew himself up and survived, no one cares about robot Jack bombs
None of the Tekken fighters have defenses for the MK fighters special abilities. But, there is no doubt the Tekken fighters are vastly superior in strength and speed. Thats factual information and not debatable. Nobody in MK can dodge bullets, but mid tier fighters in Tekken can. Durability, Strength and Speed go to Tekken fighters by a huge factor. I say due to the immense speed of the Tekken fighters, nobody in Mk would be able to land any magical attacks on them. Sub Zeros ice attacks, Shangs magic ect ect, none of it would be effective against someone like Lars who can dodge bullets.
@fatalsniper728: Scorpion is immune to death. He'll keep coming back for eternity until every Tekken character has fallen to his knee's.
@P0rtal:
Reptile dodged bullets in the MK9 story. Kabal can run at sonic speeds. More than half the cast can are teleporters. Then there are at least 5 Godlike character who can warp reality and/or kill from across dimensions. There are a few characters who are as close to bullet proof as you can get (Goro, Kintaro, Moloch), then there are a few who are bullet proof (the Cyborgs, Motaro). What do you mean?
Tekken is awsome and has a bunch of characters who can hold there own...but not for too long.
