In Metropolis, whoever wins gets to kill supes.

In fact, the whole reason they created Mongul II in the first place was because the first Mongul was too weak to be a threat anymore.

Pretty much. Superman once beat the living sh*t out of Mongul before, but Doomsday has actually managed to kill him.

Um, DD already killed Mongul,iirc, when he and a team including Steel went on a mission to free him to confront Imperiex Prime in Our Worlds at War!

I always found post crisis Mongul to be somewhat pathetic. He has that bloodthirsty nature but never really the brawn to back it up.
