Battle begins in the Gobi Desert. Who wins?

I'm leaning towards Monarch. Realistically, it could go either way.

Silver Sufer for the win

This is one sided if you really don't look at it. If Surfer manages to break this dude open as seen by superman prime the new version then surfer can easily absorb this energy or do what he does to hulk that one time. Also this would be a good fight. Almost like a not as invulnerable tyrant fighting surfer.

I would try to make a case, but there isn't enough written for Monarch to do that.

I'm not sure, I haven't read anything with Monarch but from what I have heard he could probably take it.

Agreed, how did Surfer even get 7 wins? Surfer fanboys all the way..eck....to them nobody stands a chance against Surfer? Monarch Is beyond the Silver Surfers power. Silver Surfer could barely  contain the enegry from 1 sun. I'm not even sure if Monarch has a physical head...even if he does he's certainly durable enough to. Not like there's anything supporting the notion Surfer can do that beyond unsubstantiated statements on his part.

Monarch...easily over Surfer...and even has a more than decent shot at taking on a de-powered Tyrant, who has absolutely wiped the floor with Surfer before

Monarch oppetates on a much higher level than the Silver Surfer, it would be worst than Surfer fighting Thanos. Monarch was capable of tanking multiple blows from Supermen, green lantern blasts from multiple lanterns and more without no harm. He's going to be too much for the herald to handle on his own.

Aren't Monarch blast equal to the big bang? I think I also heard that he could destroy the universe if he selfdestructs... I know the surfer is a big deal, but I think he's a bit outclassed here..

He's only equal to the big bang when he detonates. His armor has to be ripped open in order to achieve this. Doesn't mean Surfer's outclassed, and there are way Surfer can win without rupturing his armor.

That's a lot like me saying that Monarch can come back when he actually manages to blow up a planet under his own power (and not when someone rips his armor open).
