The Rules

Note: The opponent Thor, Wonder Woman and Hulk will be facing is an amalgamation character. This amalgam character consists of Black Bolt, Midnighter and Fantomex. Again, this is not Black Bolt, Midnighter and Fantomex vs. Thor, Wonder Woman and Hulk. This is a single amalgam character consisting of the three vs. Thor, Wonder Woman and Hulk.

• Everyone is in-character but determined to win.
• Random encounter. Basic knowledge of each other.
• Win by any means.
• Standard equipment.

Who's morals does the Amalgam have? Because Block Bolt's powers with Midnighter's morals sounds terrifying.

Wonder Woman is a nonfactor. Knowing her weakness via his combat computer, having the stats and a mental whammy should see Diana being sliced to death. Cue the rabid fanbase coming in with excuses....now.

I'd think Hulk would be mental whammied and Thor is hit or miss there. To be honest I see Thor winning then the panel pulls back to show us it's all in his head and Midnighter doors him and Hulk out.

Also Midnighter had his neck broken by Seth the six billion dollar bastard and was back to fighting form shortly after, so there! Nyeah nyeah!

All three of the characters facing off against Midnighter could solo stomp. You must really dislike him. I'd figure that someone with over 20,000 post would know better, but I guess not. Flagged.

Amalgam can win, especially with doors.

eehhhh I think many of you have spoken too quickly when salivating over the amaglam character. Think about this, just food for thought:

• Hulk (WWH especially, but nonetheless) has withstood BB's vocal attacks
• Is this a Hulk that has Bannertech?
• Thor is able to counter measure BFR.
• Thor, Diana, and Hulk have shown fair to decent resistance to attacks in the mental realm that Fantomex may attempt to employ. Bear in mind I am not saying they are immune or totally resistant. I'm just saying it may not work.
• Thor, Diana, and Hulk all have INSANE durability and damage soak. Hurting them will be very challenging, Hulk has the insane regen as well. A victory will be through cowardly means here if granted.
• Diana has the superior speed advantage I feel here.
• Don't feel that the amaglam will be able to withstand any high end offensive attacks that the team can dish out, especially coupled with the versatility. Is the amaglam fighting them all at once? oof.
• It seems that this hinges on the amaglam's ability to BFR through Doors. Lame victory hinge.

Just my two cents off the top of my head. Could be garbage, could be insightful. who knows.....

I don't know much about team one but an amalgam of team two seems almost unstoppable aside from your mega high tier characters.

Thor, Wonder Woman and Hulk are a team.

It's not telepathy. There is a lot of evidence that goes against the idea that it is telepathy:

1. Fantomex has telepathic blockers in his mask. One would assume that a blocker which prevents telepathy from entering his mask would also stop telepathy from leaving his mask, but assuming that is not true...
2. The Deathlok version of Fantomex was able to use Misdirection on 616 Fantomex, meaning that Fantomex is not immune to misdirection, despite being immune to telepathy.
3. He was able to maintain his illusion for a long period of time against Professor X and Jean Grey - both of whom are high level telepaths who shouldn't be tricked so easily by another telepath.
4. It was described as "reality skewing" by Archangel. Dark Beast used a device to redirect the Misdirection back at Fantomex:

It is not clear exactly what Fantomex's Misdirection actually is; it's not telepathy, and it's certainly more than simple illusion casting. But my point is that being resistant or immune to telepathic attacks does not protect you from misdirection.

Fantomex's misdirection, Midnighter's battle computer and doors + Black a bolts voice seems like something that is hard to overcome for physical powehouses.

I think the amalgamation is diverse enough to overcome the physical advantage that the team possesses.
