Rules:

Round 1:

• Random Encounter - Fight starts 60 feet apart
• Fight Location: Central Park
• NO Doors
• Standard gear for everyone
• Victory via death, ko, or incapcitation

Round 2:

• Both sides get 30 minutes prep
• Doors is OK
• Team was informed about "Doors" 5 minutes before the battle
• Perfect teamwork for mutants
• Morals off for X-23, Ink, & Bishop
• Black Tom Cassidy is bloodlusted
• Victory by any means

"Azazel can mentally control his progeny from his dimension, fire blasts of energy, teleport, has knowledge of dark magic, is a master swordsman, is immortal and can control the creatures that live in the Brimstone Dimension. He also appeared to have the ability whether through magic or limited shapeshifting to disguise his appearance (generally used to seduce and impregnate women). @realitywarper: That doesn't mean Azazel will solo. Midnight has wrecked a lot worse.

Faster and stronger individuals with more quantifiable feats?

I have read the comics but he never killed some dark magic users.

@realitywarper: Can you cite some dark magic Azazel has used in a random encounter offensively?

damn with Sage there im tempted to believe that the mutant team can win. but i am disappointed with no Gambit. its always fun to do the Gambit+Bishop combination or the Gambit+Shaw Combination

Pretty sure team wins here.

Biggest reason I see the mutants winning is Shaw, who can take all midnighters hits

However, round two, Midnighter stomps, Doors+Battle computer could take down people far stronger than this team

team stomps hard most of them would be a decent fight one on one destiny and sage counter his biggest advantage.

heck the gorgan might take this by himself.

They do not counter his abilities at all because they do not have the physical abilities to do anything about it.

Destiny just has some slightly impressive precognition, but no actual skills or combat ability to do anything with it, she will just see what order he team mates die in.

Sage is better off than Destiny but not by much, she also has prediction abilities, but also lacks any physical ability to make use of it.

If this is N52 Midnighter they may have a chance, if his is Wildstorm Midnighter, they all die in a horrible mess.

@misterwhisper: wildstorm midnighter was only as fast as wolverine on average he had implants that allow him to greatly increase this for a short period of time but only for a short period of time people act like he was a kryptonian shaw will be hard to put down brunt force and energy attacks will not do it midnighter would have to bring some outside for him he doesn't typically use blades also at the start unless midnghter uses his speed bump ability from the start the gorgan is faster more skilled and about as strong maybe a little stronger not to mention could just turn him to stone which admittedly would be hard normally but with all the distractions could happen also it would be verry hard for midnighter to pull this off not impossible but verry hard and no way he takes majority.

and thanks to tom shaw and bishop will both be superhumanly strong and durability and sage could just TP him

If you have been in multiple CAV's against him I would assume you would know his feats and abilities just fine, and would know why he would walk all over everyone here but Gorgon, and he would beat him too but it would be interesting to see.

@misterwhisper: thats why i know it's not wolverine can match or surpass every speed feat i have heard or seen except the speedbump feat which i have never seen
