Metron Vs The Possessor!

Battle:

1.  Who possesses more knowledge? Who has a better understanding of the Universe and it's origins? In other words, who is smarter?
2.  Direct confrontation, Who has better energy manipulation skills, psionic powers etc? In other words, who is more powerful?
3.  Possessor, has the Runestaff the "key" to all knowledge of the Universe as he calls it. You can look it up, if you don't know what it is.
   

Metron is smarter and more knowledgable.
However in direct confrontation, I think Possessor would win a battle.
Mtron might be able to strand (in another dimension / time) the Possessor by using his Mobius Chair.

It can absorb life energies and in so doing transports the victim in to the Runestaffs dimension.
This is what happened to all the Library staff on the Possessors Library World.

I have not seen it grant dimensional movement other than this.
