This is why I try not to go off of what is shown in a hero comic and based things off of what is known about a characer and his power. Of course Mandarin lost to Ironman, he has to, he's the hero. But if you look at what the Mandarin is capable of, he could defeat Doom.

No..the Mandarin lost to Iron Man because Iron Man outclasses him in everything except fighting skill.Iron Man is far stronger than him.He now has an Ice Weapon,telepathy doesn't work on him because of the neural net,his gauntlets trump electricity and he built a defense against EMP,actually Iron Man should have done alot worse to him than he actually did last time they fought but the ankle bracelet Doc Samson put on him was jamming Extremis.
Doom has a device that let him steal the power cosmic and has beaten Iron Man even when Iron Man had prep and he has none.Doom also outclasses the Mandarin in every category...not to mention his magical ability.
