hmm i dont know if Magus has any TP resistance but he was able to take on the Annihilators if he has the TP resistance he can win here (key part is can i didnt say he would i just dont know enough about both)

How strong is he?

Classic days he was powerful enough to go toe to toe with Thanos, not as his equal but rather his superior. Although this was before Thanos had his upgrade and power level people normally know him of in comicvine.

He was also so powerful that World Mind actually tells Nova not to engage in battle with Magus because he exceeds Nova's power so greatly that even the world mind cant effectively measure it.

Outside that he has very limited feats.

And while Magus does have few telepathic feats nothing should really be on a scale to challenge Fernus.

In terms of physical prowess, the Magus has gone toe to toe with Thanos, and has on occasion been presented as Thanos' superior.

Don't know enough on Fernus, but, from what I've read, he'd be a tough customer for Magus to beat.

Fernus with utter ease

Magus all day, he casually destroyed a dozen planets with not even his full power which is more then fenrus has, TP will be useless against the guy who took on mind gem users And easily expelled them, or was made into less then a shade and spent time in the Soul gem, magus could one shot silver surfer physically so yeah Magus all day here though not easily

If you take Adam's TP feats as Magus's, then a TP argument could be made.
