So much metal weapons and armour...Magneto succeeds easily.
@jacthripper: considering that Sauron is still only in the void not dead and could return at any time. Magneto dies. Probably to a ring wraith
@noah_ouellette: Could does not mean will
Presuming that it is the most current Middle Earth that we know, Sauron is not present. If he is, he finally takes over Middle Earth using Magneto.
@jacthripper: sure he does. Current this thread is spite. There's like five orcs in mordor. I could solo
If this is "current" middle earth or not doesn't make a difference to the fact that Sauron can't die. But after the ring was destroyed his spirit was so weakened that he will be trapped to forever roam middle earth without a form and power to affect anything. That being said, there is no creature in Mordor that can face Magneto if Sauron is gone.
How well does Magneto fare against powerful magic? The orcs and fodders because of their metal armor but there is powerful wizards like Gandalf and Sauraman
Two questions:
How well does Magneto fare against powerful magic? The orcs and fodders because of their metal armor but there is powerful wizards like Gandalf and Sauraman
He's not fighting Gandalf and Sauraman wasn't in Mordor.

I thought this was whole Midgard vs Magneto, nvm then

That's not how I interpreted it, but it's not specified. Perhaps the OP will? @uft
@elderskaar: Yeh Magento'a shields have tanked hits from Thor, Surfer and a blast from Galactus. If Gandalf and Saruman show up they'll get wrecked as well.
How does his shields works? Is it possible to teleport inside the force fields and spray him with a spell from there?
Magneto simply conquers middle earth
Cant tell, Tolkiens magic is too complex to say the least. Army wise, Magneto stomps. i mean, so much metal lol. Once the likes of Sauron appear, i dont know. Sauron has been only harmed by magical weapons/Valar's powers/powerful tolkien beings. Magneto could jsut throw a big badass metal ball made with the scraps of Saurons fallen army lol, but he wont kill Sauron like that. He will just return to his void. And ringwraiths the same.
Also, has magneto used his power on magical weapons before?
Tolkien magic is allways hard to debate.
Bunch of fodder orcs with metal weapons vs the master of metal?
Yea......Magneto utterly destroys. Hell, he'd probably take over Middle Earth afterwards in the name of Mutant kind.
Sauron can be one-shotted...He had his body destroyed a few times..And it takes him hundreds of years to come back..
@godxdarkxopal: By magical weapons and valar's wrath. Magneto cant use magic. We really cant say if he is even able to hurt Sauron. He could allways grab Glamdring or Anduril and take him, but without them i dont see him doign much. Also, as i said, Tolkiens magic is too complex to be sure. Thats why threads containing someone vs Tolkienverse are very hard.
@linark: LOL...When Numenor was destroyed Sauron had to wait a few hundred years to regain his body..Magic is not needed to hurt Sauron or destroy his body...So,please come better..
@godxdarkxopal: Destroyed by Illuvatar himself. Literally a god. Remember he was carrying the one ring by that time and that was either his salvation and his weakness. The one ring allowed him to control the minds of those not strong willed enough to resist the other rings influence, but also made him weaker as he poured a lot of his power in it. He resisted eru's wrath thanks to it, as part of him was on the ring, but he was also weak enough to be unable to avoid the flood. Still, it was eru's direct actions that destroyed his body.
Bring any moment that shows Sauron getting harmed by non magical events/weapons/etc, then ill admit Magneto stomps him too. Till then, theres nothing that suggest Magneto can harm him, so we end in an infinite debate. As i said, Tolkiens view of magic is too broad and "ethereal" for these type of debates.
There are a lot of questions to which we haev no real answer: Can magneto resist Saurons manipulating abilities? he manipulated the likes of Celebrindor and Ar-Pharazôn. Can magneto resist Saurons magic? In the case theres no metal around and ringwraiths try to kill him, can he manipulate mordor magical swords? etc etc etc
Magneto sh*ts on them with ease
Fixed.
How many times must it be known that the term to use is "with ease" instead of "with easy"?
Doesn't sound like it makes too much sense, does it?
He walks into Mordor, drink something, take a nap and leave without injured. He blocked mystical attacks with his shield and even manipulated the Mjolnir in the past, he could easily summon the rings to his hand and levitate them to the vulcan.
@linark: Whatever bro..His body was destroyed by a flood.Eru didn't harm Sauron. His destroyed the island.LOL..So please explain that to someone else.

I swear he has against Mjolnir.

The last one is from the 1610, still awesome though.
@iamoptimusprime: How many times must it be known that I do it on purpose? For some reason it seems to make everyone mad with easy
Hmm, how is he going to deal with the wraiths?
Throw a stone down the hill side and have them run after it...

On purpose? I didn't know that :p.
It just makes it look as if you don't know the right term for the situation. And it seems like at one time you inadvertently made me forget what the right word was.
Still doesn't look sensible to pronounce though :p...
