I have been to an argument that Madara is to much for superman new-52 what do you guys think i red some of the naruto manga but its no way in hell madara can even scratch supes

I've seen many threads where they'll treat Superman like a Cosmic God.. so, all that "Unfair spite" crap flies right pass me.

Supes can over power. Though madara could very well absorb super mans energy with preta path that works on superman. Though i see this kind of playing out much like Gai vs Madara with Gai wtf stomping him. Then again. Can superman stop like 20 meterors coming at him. Then again madara has his god power inyoton that can destroy all things b increation and produce a nuke like explosion from it. And madara does have FTL reaction and movement. Im not sure. Really im kind of torn. Im not to privy to new 52 superman

Superman is just way too much for madara. Supes could wreck eighth hate guy, who was beating on madara proving tai jutsu works means its a speedblitze.

Superman has strength. But his powers can be absorbed thanks to preta path. Not to mention Madara has freaking Izanagi which is a reality warping manuver turning reality into illusion on a hax scale. All damage done to madara will literally be turned into an illusion while superman takes damage from inyoton.

Pis off. Madara is damn near an invicnible immortal. But what Madara is this though. E.M.S. Madara, Rinnegan Madara, or Juubi madara. Not to mention Superman has zero answers for limbo hengoku that can effect people in the natural world while they cant u less they have the sages power or connection to natural energy. Though superman does draw energy from the sun which can be seen as a source but he doesnt have rinnegan to see into the world or limbo so at best hed be able to sense it. But yeah it depends which Madara imo.

@csdabest: preta path absorbs chakra, izanaga is a one time deal and will invalidate one of his eyes and inyoton has no proven feats to damage a superman class being.

madara isn't invincible as the 8 gates gai nearly killed him. limbo is merely going to annoy him because it only showed physical capability, not the other stuff you assumed it does.

Izanagagi is not a onetime use. It has made blind the sharingan but not the rinnegan. Infact he gained hisnsight back with the rinnegan. Superman heat vision is aboug the temp of the sun surface. Madara tanked that eat already and would just absorb it. Inyoton does damage beyond atomic dismantelling. Its ying and yang. It the very basis of creation and destruction. And not to mention it is considered magic as all shinobi abilities are and has even be reffered to in manga as ninja manga.

Rikudou powers have also been on record to effect people outside of chakra seeing as kaguya encased the whole world inside of genjutsu despite no one having chakra at the time. Not to mention madara was fighting o. Gai level in taijutsu since he couldnt use ninjutsu and gai had mad support from two space time warpers.

Your trying to argue raw physical strength and durability against someone with hax and magic skills that can negate that ability.

I know everyone likes to pit characters they like against DC's flagship boy Superman because he's popular, but there's a reason why he has a reputation of "always winning." And that's mostly due to forum threads like this. He's honestly not that overpowered.
Naruto characters have some cool hax abilities but they don't have much hope against someone who's as fast, durable, powerful and versatile as Superman.

How exactly does Madara "stomp"?

@csdabest: preta path doesn't absorb physical hit and limbo has only shown physical damage. gai may have shown one spacial distortion because of his attack but when someone can punch you at near light speed levels continously, one time spacial distortion kicks ain't going to matter regardless of regen that character has.

izanagi is a one time deal since it closes the eyes on where it was used and why would madara waste his two precious eyes for such a limited technique ? yes, awakening rinnegan restored his other eye but why would he use it again just for that same eye to close back ? he has better usage for it. the only time madara used izanagi was on his battle against hashirama and it costed him his eye. skills definitions are useless given inyoton has not shown capability of breaking people as tough as superman. you might as well claim that inyoton can harm galactus given that it's the very basis of creation and destruction and no, it's not magic. it's merely chakra melding and chakra is the basis on naruto

infinite tsukiyomi is a special case in which light reflected from the moon can subdue everyone. yes, rikuodu and kaguya can effect people without chakra but these are mere earth people, not kryptonians. it would be quite a stretch that they can effect him easily when kyrptonians can move on faster than gai on a fighting basis. it wouldn't even lead to the point that madara would be able to cast infinite tsukiyomi again.

you are trying to argue your own interpretation of haxes against someone that can destroy a planet in one punch and has an astounding amount of durability. you might as well argue that said ill defined haxes can work on higher beings like SS, thanos or odin.

I dont see Madara winning . Superman is way beyond is level .

Even minato's instant teleportation (in sagemode) wasnt enough to hit madara. Plus the 8th gate isnt ordinary taijutsu, as madara himself specifically told Gai that if he didnt use red mist/power (8th gates power) he was seriously underestimating him. Plus even kakashi said that taijutsu doesnt work on madara.

@a1l_s2a3m4e5n: gai running on air is faster that superman ? superman was fighting accordingly with flash in n52 and was tagging him accordingly. pre 52 is be probably more faster and i would even reckon that both flashes would be outstripping madara easily.

the thing with gai's super kick is that it's space warping was so weird that even normal speedsters like flash and superman don't warp the space around and both have gone beyond light speed. how are you going to account that weirdness ? the space warpers in that fight are merely there to catch madara offguard because of how durable his truth-seeking balls are.

n52 superman was trading blows with a kryptonian and his punches could have shattered earth if that kryptonian wasn't getting hit by it. heck, the shockwaves of those punches were felt from the watchtower which is barely outside earth's atmosphere and the two were punching in the center of the earth. n52 superman has already benchpressed the equivalent of earth's weight and was still wanting more.

madara is not being underestimated here but he's fighting someone way beyond what the naruto verse can offer.

and i think you're misinterpreting something, gudoudama (truthballs) arent durable, they disintegrate any thing that doesnt have senjutsu chakra.

plus there are only two ways madara wins and one of them relys on chance.

they are:

1. superman unwittingly flies into gudoudama or is tagged by it.

2. mugen tsukiyomi (infinite tsukiyomi) which would only be useful if they are by some miracle fighting at night.

if not superman carries him into space and leaves him there.

also N52 supes can fly FTL not run.

can you claim that a gudodama would be able to disintegrate a kryptonian when all it has seen to disintegrate are "zombies that have good regenerations" ? kryptonians are still leagues above anything on earth in terms of durability. he's even survived darkseid's omega beams in n52

Gudoudama disintegrated energy attacks eg. amaterasu (fire attack as hot as the sun which never goes out and can burn any thing, even fire.) bijuudama (obito's bijuudama>naruto's) and the only things it fail to disintegrate were senjutsu attacks.

And Gai punched madara (it wasnt the shock waves/Wind pressure that put madara into the ground) kakashi teleported gai into a space behind madaras gudoudama and gai punched him.

plus when the shockwaves hit, madara hadnt erected a shield using gudoudama.

PLUS, Naruto hit madara with a youtonrasenshuriken (an attack which decimates mountains and destroys all the cells of those it hits) and madara still got back up after regen erating even though it was a senjutsu attack.

high regeneration rate isn't true immortality and for that matter, what's preventing supes from pummeling him again and again ? he might survive a bisection but he won't when madara gets ripped apart by the sheer strength of supe's punches.

So "guy who ignores physics" beats Superman.

sarutobi explained that gudoudama is at a level far above jinton (which destroys things at the atomic level, kind of like or slightly below wonder womans new 52 sword which can hurt superman) and yet gudoudama like WW is above atomic level.

In essence you could say gudoudama is WW sword + hax in the form of a shapeshifting black ball.
