In-Character

Takes Place in Dooku's Hangar on Geonosis

Luke Starts in the center of the hangar where Dooku stood. The Hunters begin where Anakin and Kenobi stood.

Luke is using this hangar in secret and just as he's about to board his shuttle the Bounty Hunters arrive to collect (They've prepped for the occasion).

Dead or Alive.

Bonus Round: If Luke wins, give the Hunters IG-88.

A friend asked me this and for some reason my brain doesn't want to compute, so... you do it! >:0

This could possibly be a mismatch but... meh! My brain is taking an off day.

Even with IG-88, I doubt they can take Luke.

If this is canon, Jango is so disappointed with Boba that he just leaves.

Legends canon, the team can take.

Haha!

Boba, redeem yourself by defeating the very box that beat you!

In canon, hasn't Boba lost to to a blind guy twice or something?

@emperor339: Pretty much. Though he didn't really fight Han, but even still he was a moron jetpacking right infront of the guy with the sword that could cut him in half so...Jango is still gonna be incredibly disappointed.

@wolfrazer: I only know about the scene in which Han Solo knocked him into the Sarlacc pit while he had carbonite blindness. What's the other time that happened?

Assuming this battle allows EU feats, the team should take it. IG-88 isn't necessary. I should say that I think Luke is roughly the maximum these guys could handle. It'd be a hard fight for sure.

I ignore everything outside of the movies when I judge Star Wars fights, so I think Jango solos. The Jango that fought Obi-Wan can take ROTJ Luke. AOTC Obi-Wan was a much better fighter than Luke, by feats, and Jango held his own. Movie Boba is basically only good for finding Luke so his daddy can beat him. I guess he can pilot Slave-1 to prevent Luke from escaping.

@nfactor1995: Feats. Vader fought terribly in ROTJ and ESB compared to how he fought in AOTC and ROTS. He was much slower, less acrobatic, didn't have nearly as good telekinesis. His technique was also much worse.

@eldorian: Just because he was flashier in ROTS than he was in ROTJ does not mean he was less powerful. You have to take into account when the movies were made, what the intentions were, and other content such as novels, comics etc. and where they establish Vader's skills.

@nfactor1995: Nah. Like I said, I judge Star Wars by the movies. Judging by the movies, Darth Vader lost much of his ability when Obi-Wan hacked him to pieces. The only thing he seemed to gain from his cyborg conversion is strength. When Luke fought him, he was much slower and clumsier than when Obi-Wan fought him, with less telekinesis. Luke was much slower and clumsier than Obi-Wan was during AOTC.

You're free to discount what I'm writing because I discount comics and cartoons and novels, that's fine.

Let us take an in depth look at each of our combatants:

Luke in canon has been shown to have a rough understanding of blaster shot deflection, though I am unsure if Luke is able to defend against more than 1 opponent when deflecting blaster shots. I gathered this evidence from Luke's fight on Jabba's Sail Barge. Luke also showed an ability with Force Augmentation, which he used to great affect in the sail barge battle and on the Death Star 2.

Jango Fett has been shown to be able to challenge a seasoned Jedi Knight, Obi Wan Kenobi. He had many gadgets hidden with in his gauntlets and used them to great effect against Obi Wan. His jetpack was essential in his combat as he used it to gain leverage.

Boba Fett was much like his father, but he did not use melee weapons and physical strikes to as much effect as his father.

We can stop right here, Boba Fett and Jango Fett are more than a match for Luke. even without IG-88. Luke may be able to cut off Boba's arm or hand but Jango's experience would overwhelm him and destroy him.

Erkan, earthangelo...

JT101 wants to know your reasoning and stuff.

Simply because being better than Darth Vader (not by much, but still...) is much more impressive than anything Jango and Boba did, though they could win a couple of rounds due to their collective power but that's all.

Vader was holding back against Luke. Jango and Boba have killed their fair share of Jedi, too.

Novel specifically says that Vader was ready to kill Luke and Luke didn't want to fight against his father. More like Luke was holding back and he still won.

Well Luke says that Vader was too conflicted to take the fight seriously, so he wasn't at his full. Vader at his full was able to defeat Mace Windu according to Antoine Bandele, a source which I trust fully. The video is above. I do not think Luke was on par with Mace Windu in the least, Mace was an experienced Jedi Master, while Luke had been involved in 2 real duels (Cymoon 1 wasn't a duel it was Vader simply overpowering Luke with his strength). Vader was one of the greatest Djem So Master's of all time, able to utilize the Force with Variety and being a total tank in duels, simply using strength based attacks. Luke was inexperienced, and had little lightsaber training. As seen in the Sail Barge Assault (above) Luke clumsily deflected blaster shots, something which is evident when his hand is shot (not included in the video). Vader isn't even the issue, it is Luke's lack of formal training and experience.

He sure shows his "rough knowledge" of blaster deflection here:

And here:

Getting shot while he was looking another direction and talking to Leia does nothing to prove that the Fett duo can easily beat him.

How ironic that RotJ Luke casually sliced off Boba Fett's pistol in that scene... Which is also something very impressive considering Vader's track record against Boba Fett.
