Why is Rhodey here?

He's tanked nukes. I'd argue he's a low end high tier.

@adriusus: Tanking nukes would put him at a strict mid-tier..... Most mid-tiers can tank nukes.

@adriusus: Tanking nukes is still a mid tier feat. Rhodey has no successful fight against any high tier character, at least Stark can hold his own. At best you could argue he's Superior to Stark's pass armors in certain areas, but scaling only goes so far.

@adriusus: No wait. Stark both rounds. I believe Simon is stronger but Stark has greater chance of hurting Simon than Simon could Stark. Plus in this Armor Stark has a healing factor so IT will be difficult to take him down.

@krleavenger: Well, to you, what is the requirement for being a high tier character?

Since, mine's "high tier" means you must have nuke or above level durabilty (IMO). IINM, none of mid tiers can survive nuclear explosions.

I'll just keep those supposed-mid tier combatants here.

@adriusus: I can name a lot of Mid Tiers who can survive the nuke. It takes more than a nuke level to be a high tier. You need to have to be powerful enough to give top powerhouses a good fight, something neither of those can do minus Ares. Yeah Ares is the only High tier here minus those two. .

@krleavenger: How about destroying a mountain? Does that make a character high tier too?

@adriusus: I don't remember anyone here being on that level (minus Ares, Simon and Iron-man).

@noone1996: Rhodey being able to phase Rulk isn't exactly holding his own. Rulk had already taking damage form some alien tech two pages before Rhodey swooped in. Valkyrie even stated "He's weak, we have the advantage." So Rulk was in the best condition in that brief skirmish.

Holding his own against the Red Hulk is still impressive and he should be ranked above mid-tier because of that. Also, I can probably count on one hand the amount of mid-tiers that can casually tank nukes like Rhodey has.

That alien tech wasn't even that powerful. When 14 of those warheads were falling from the sky, Steve Rogers claimed that there were enough to level the city. So it takes 14 to be just be city busting? And Rulk only got hit twice by one at a time. I think it's safe to assume that he wasn't that weakened. Besides, he's got a healing factor and he seemed okay enough in the next page.

When Valkyrie said, "he's weak" I assumed it was because she hit him with her enchanted sword or because Rhodey just knocked him around and he was dazed. I mean how would she know that he was weakened from that alien tech? I doubt they even saw him getting blasted by it.

I have yet to see a good debate in Aquaman's favor.

@akshsarpanch: They are low high tier. That means they are in the high tier list with Thor and Hulk and Superman, but they are at the bottom of the high tier list.

Aquaman should be able to catch Tony and win.

Personally I think Wonder Man being well written is more powerful than Arthur bar the trident. Thing is, Tony has the means to take Simon out quickly, and is most likely what he'll do. Rodney isn't going to beat Stark any time soon, and though Ares has a lot of implied power, his feats aren't up to scale. Iron Man will probably have plenty of trouble taking out Arthur and would be wise to leave Simon to do so, however I don't think he'll do that. The battle between him and Arthur can be seen through with many factors. Arthur is more superior physically while Tony is much more versatile and has range so it's a hard call.
