The Loebforce is not real. Can we stop treating it like it is an actual thing? And Superman would take this.

The "Loeb Force" was simply Red Hulk absorbing energy from his opponents.

Actually, people thought Rulk's sucker punch is the "Loeb Force."

What is the big deal about "loeb force" And why is it used with such disdain? Do you guys realize Joseph loeb is the co-creator of the character and everything during his run is what Rulk is originally capable of doing?Which means being able to defeat Thor( Tactically for the most part),Hulk,Silver Surfer,Terrax etc . Now also please understand what made Rulk so damn dangerous then was his ability to absorb almost any kind of energy to power up and argument himself.This was taken away which means, Rulk is de powered and has lost an natural ability of his. So when some people talk about him being able to absorb almost any kind of energy and make it seem like it's out of character to do so and therefore stupid they are either speaking out of ignorance or just damn stupid.Now I understand not everyone likes him which is fine, we all have our own tastes in characters just don't say what he does doesn't make sense.

Now for Superman vs Rulk, If it's new 52 Superman , Whom shoots eye beams which can consist of any energy of Electromagnetic spectrum, he might be at a disadvantage because Rulk can absorb any one of those, now we don't know what limit he can absorb but seeing the beings he I have witnessed him absorb energy from(Hulk,Silver Surfer,Claw) he can probably take superman's max, which would drastically empower Rulk to pull off a victory, Rulk can also touch supes and absorb him, so what ever strength and durability He didn't start off in when the fight starts he will end up with it eventually leading Rulk to theoretically pull off a victory. With out his absorbtion ability, Supes would probably defeat Rulk medium difficulty.

@rainja: Loeb's stories are often PIS - aside from Superman: For All Seasons, he usually writes Superman with PIS.

Before you post any more stupid crap, you have to read Rainja's post. Instead of calling him Loeb Force Rulk, it's actually the original Rulk. The first version of Rulk was a bad guy who was eventually de-powered and joined the Avengers. That wasn't PIS... It was essential to the overall story, and its cannon, so all you fanboys of characters Rulk beat in that Story arc can eternally suck on that. BTW, villain Rulk > Superman, the irradiated Kryptonian.
