there's a Xena clone running around in the 21 century in the show who knows what guns are as well as a time where xena's spirit inhabits one of her descendants briefly to fight some nazis. But even if she didn't know what a gun was she'd probably be able to extrapolate that it was a weapon based on the way Lara would hold it.
Now if Lara was limited to technology available in the vague 'ancient times' that xena takes place in xena would definitely win. She'd be poorly matched in a straight up fight, and it's almost impossible to sneak up on xena. There's rarely a time xena is seen not catching an arrow, though a black powder based explosive arrow could have made things interesting.
But even bringing guns into it doesn't guarantee it would go well for lara, xena's got the speed and reflexes for dodging lightning thrown at her by gods. So it's questionable weather lara would actually hit with her first few shots. Xena could make it to cover or get into close quarters quickly, that's the problem with guns- limited range of efficacy if xena gets in close she will have pretty much already won.
Also Xena has the chakram, which is magic and can do pretty much whatever the writers want it to do and xena is able to calculate angles with extreme precision and attack indirectly from line of sight.
