Lar Gand (a.k.a Mon-El) vs. Sodam Yat

The Rules:

1. This is a Daxamite grudge match.
2. Sodam Yat does not have his Ion powers.
3. Morals: In character
4. Weapons/Powers: Both can use their GL abilities as well as their Daxamite powers.
5. Prep: 24 hours
6. Location: Daxam
7. No BFR.

Who wins and why?

Mon-El wins sodam really sucks

Notification don't work so you shouldn't bother tagging viners

I actually didn't know Mon-El ever became a Green Lantern so I can't comment on how good he is with a ring. If they're equal in that regard I'd take Mon-el over Sodam as he has more feats with native powers as compared to Sodam who is mainly shown with his Green Lantern powers

notifications do work, you just have to set them to work...it's weird

Sodam was SUPPOSE to be the greatest Green Lantern of all time.....

but I'm still going to give the win to Mon-El

Why?

Mon-El/Lar-Gand/Valor, or whatever you wanna call him isn't as experienced with his Lantern powers as Sodam Yat. Lar doesn't have to rely on the ring like Sodam does but in his reliance Sodam uses it more effectively. Physically, I haven't seen all their feats to call who's stronger or faster, but as far as being a lantern goes, Sodam's got it.

Mon-El should be able to stop Sodam Yat in a decent battle... though one must wonder... what if Mon El had the ION Power and fought Superboy Prime instead of Sodam Yat as ION ? Would the battle have been different ?
