Kylo Ren vs a Predator

Title says all. Who would win?

Kylo had trouble with a storm tropper and lost to an untrained Jedi. Predator should take this.

Predator doesn't even bother taking a trophy.

Elite predator in a forest? Easy win for the Predator.

The problem with Kylo was inconsistency. At the beginning of the film, we have him effortlessly suspending a blaster bolt in mid-air, even taking the time to pester Poe. He slaughters anyone who was in his way. But his drastic emotional trauma with encountering Han distracted him from catching onto Chewie's caster shot, leaving him bleeding and weakened by the time he destroyed Finn in a fight and lost to Rey.

I don't think this is anywhere close to as one sided as everyone makes it out to be, nor do I have an opinion on the outcome.

storm stroopers are supposed to be elite soldiers even though they are never shown as such. finn has been trained as a warrior since birth. finn giving kylo trouble isn't that bad at all. however, kylo ren did the remarkable thing of getting LESS impressive as the show went on. kylo could have just rag dolled finn if the plot didn't call for finn to be a threat. i am going with kylo. nothing is keeping kylo from just freezing the predator in place and beheading him with his light saber.

Kylo wins via hax

There is no battle. Rey swoops in at the last minute and brokers a peace deal between the two because she speaks fluent Predatorese.

Whoever hits first wins.

Hrm... Has the metal the predators use shown any sign of being destructible by high heat? Would a lightsaber be able to slice it and, if so, how easily?

And the lowballing continues. Kylo wins low diff, Pred gets frozen and stabbed.

The Kylo low-balling is ridiculous at this point. That being said Kylo takes this, Predator has no answer for Ren's Force abilities.

Oh ffs, Kylo wins this, definitely. Unless he kills Han, gets shot by an enraged Chewie and has internal bleeding and severe external wounds.

Chewy's blaster bolt didn't put Kylo down though, but yeah Predators shoulder cannon is way more powerful

@taquie: That's a fair point. I do believe Predator's shoulder cannon will be more lethal, but I'm not sure if it's necessarily more powerful then Chewy's bow caster. Chewy's bow caster was more explosive like an RPG, where Pred's shoulder cannon is more penetrating like a light saber. Both are powerful in their own rights, but I do believe Pred's plasma will burn a hole clean through Ren.

@tparks: Depending on charge, the shoulder cannon can either just bore a hole through a target, explode with enough force to kill a dozen or so people, or be strong enough to blow apart an attack helicopter in one shot. Overall it's more powerful, can create better splash damage, and can auto-target, as well as fire in rapid succession if necessary.

He didn't have any trouble with Finn and it's spelled stormtrooper.

Any reasons for these?

I'd say Ren only based on his force abilities. His warrior skills are likely terrible compared to a Predator, not to mention his combat sense.

An Elite predator is no joke. The only reason this is a fight is due to the force, which in his hands is not nearly enough to stop an opponent of Predator's (this version) calibre from walking right over him.
