How is this a good fight though? King Piccolo is only a city buster and even then only with his strongest blast, which I believe he said it shortened his life. Naruto and Sasuke are both leagues above him in everything. Honestly King Piccolo seems more comparable to Nagato to me.

Ya that's pretty much where I think he is. King Piccolo seems to be around Nagato level and 23rd Budokai Piccolo seems to be around Madara level.

Goku's kamehameha at that point hasn't made an explosion bigger than a small building. It's sad but true.

Eh, Kid Goku's Kamehamehas aren't that impressive by Naruto and Sasuke's standards. I don't think they're even at the level of King Piccolo's City busting blasts.

Well, to be fair, he did stalemate Roshi's Kamehameha during the 21st Budokai, but yeah, Naruto and Sasuke are both far out of Kid Goku's league.

It's kind of ridiculous to place King Piccolo below moon level imo, in durability at least, considering Roshi had literally no way of beating him without a suicide attack

So like any reason Roshi didn't hit piccolo with a moonbuster?

And just for the record I voted for Naruto Sasuke

That would be a good argument if Goku even made one large explosion up to that point.. At best kid Goku was city level along with King Piccolo.

Because the Yoshi feat is an outlier, and at best can only apply to him.

King Picolo exhausted himself from destroying a city, there's no reason to assume he is remotely close to moon level.

Early DB were inconsistent since it's still a gag manga at that time, so we can brush them off.

Why wouldn't Sasuke just hit him with an AMA?? Or teleport His sword into piccolo's chest like he did Madara, Morals off/on Sasuke still solo's in like .001 seconds, he doesn't care if he kills someone!!

@alextheboss: In terms of environmental destruction alone, yes. However, he was able to send the Crane Hermit flying away from the tournament grounds, and later on, Goku completely disentegrated Tambourine with his Kamehameha.

2. Piccolo might be able to dodge the kamehameha and after that Roshi would be helpless.

3. Roshi was over 300 years old and knew their was an after life. He doesn't have a problem sacrificing his life to save the world.

In a interview about how Roshi was so strong in RoF Toriyama said Roshi is strong when he wants to be. So basically Toriyama just doesn't give a crap and changes characters power whenever he wants.

I was wondering something though. Is king Piccolo only city buster? Mutenroshi was moon buster right? But Mutenroshi couldn't defeat King Piccolo. Something seems off to me here.

Yes. King Piccolo used a lot of energy to destroy a city and after the battle Yajirobe mentioned how Goku beat someone who could destroy a city.

Yes, but only while in his buff form using a full power kamehameha that waists all of his energy in one shot.

But Mutenroshi couldn't defeat King Piccolo.

He never actually tried. He went straight to the mafuba.

Sakura MIGHT be pushing it. Nagato could beat him though too honestly. And pretty much any toptier from canon movies or end of manga stomp him too lmao.
