My team:

Neo:

The One
The One

Small Bio:

Born inside the Matrix, a gigantic computer simulation of real life, Neo was the Chosen One to defeat the machines that used humans as batteries.

Skill, powers and stuff:

Neo is very skilled and knows a lot of different martial arts. And I mean, a lot.

Notice that he can learn a single martial art in a few seconds. He spent 10 hours there. It's quite ridiculous actually.

You can see him fighting h2h here and here, or against people with weapons here.

He is quite a physical powerhouse. To give you an idea, this is what a single Agent can do:

After becoming the One, Neo became capable of beating them quite easily.

Not only that, but later on he's shown fighting dozens of them at the same time, although he gets overwhelmed by the numbers and has to flee.

He also has telekinesis.

And can fly Superman style.

Tubalcain Alhambra:

The Dandy Man
The Dandy Man

Bio:

Vampire that uses cards. Gave Alucard a decent fight.

Powers and stuff:

He uses cards to fight kind of like Gambit.

Here it's his fight against Alucard.

I know it's an Spanish sub, but that's the only decent video of the fight on You Tube.

Anyway,

  • 1:04 - The power of just one of his cards.
  • 1:33 - Can launch many at a time.
  • 1:37 - 1 card alone can send multiple armored man flying.
  • 1:39 - Cards can easily decapitate people.
  • 1:43 - Blows cars and people up.
  • 1:46 - Dodges bullets.
  • 1:52 - This one is tricky. He can either make card clones, and that's the one that got shot. Or he can turn into cards to heal himself. I'm not sure, really. His wiki says it's either one of those.
  • 2:23 - Can defy gravity and walk on walls.
  • 3:55 - Blocks bullets with his cards.
  • 4:13 - Cuts Seras' bullet in half.

Also, his cards negate healing factors:

No Caption Provided

Alucard wasn't able to heal from his cards, while he could regenerate from having most of his body destroyed:

Narberal Gamma:

The human hater doppelgänger
The human hater doppelgänger

Small Bio:

Created as a low mid tier NPC in a RPG game, that turned real for no reason, Nabe is the strongest Battle Maid from her guild.

Powers and stuff:

Narberal is mainly a magic caster that specializes in lighting based magic. I say mainly because she can still hold her own with physicals alone:

No Caption Provided

In the gif above, she basically one shots a skeletal dragon. She can also send Hamsuke, a giant hamster, far way with a kick:

“That, that’s cruel, milord! Please do not make light of your servant’s pledge of loyalty!”

“…Did you not hear what Ainz-sama said? Fool.”

Part of Hamsuke’s body flattened as it was kicked into the distance. In place of its body was Narberal’s foot, which she slowly withdrew.

“Ainz-sama, there should be no value in raising this foolish lifeform. Would you allow your loyal servant to incinerate it with lightning?”

Overlord - Volume 2 - Chapter 4

She can easily close the distance with teleportation, attack from behind, then teleport again back to safety.

She only didn't kill the guy because she wanted to humiliate him a little bit more.

Not saying she'll fight in close combat though. She's a magic caster, so, it's better to stay far away attacking with spells. Teleportation guarantees that she'll be able to keep her distance, and she can keep flying all the time:

The Skeletal Dragons brought their forelegs down, intending to crush Narberal’s body beneath their forepaws. At the very last moment, Narberal cast a spell before being reduced to paste.

“[Teleportation].”

Narberal’s field of vision immediately changed.

She was now about 500 meters in the air.

Without wings to keep her aloft, Narberal plummeted toward the ground.

The wind shear roared across her body and the ground drew close. Narberal laughed:

“[Fly].”

Her rate of descent slowed and then stopped, until Narberal hung in the air, looking down on the battlefield from just now. Khazit and the two Skeletal Dragons looked around in shock, as Narberal was nowhere to be found.

For magical offence, she can use lighting strikes or eletrospheres from a distance:

“Nabel, do it.”

The cold command was issued, and Narberal standing behind him nodded slightly.

“Lightning.”

A lightning which violently shook the air burst forth, striking the escaping ogre with the sound of thunder. It pierced through the ogre bound by grass behind it too.

Easily finishing off the 2 ogres."

Overlord - Volume 2 - Chapter 2.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“[Twin Maximize Magic - Electrosphere].”

Two balls of lightning, each nearly twice the normal size, appeared in Narberal’s open palms and shot forth—

—And then they struck.

The electrospheres — their destructive power greatly augmented — expanded rapidly. The electrical pulse that spread from them was huge and lit the graveyard as if it was in broad daylight. The magical lightning vanished as quickly as it had appeared, taking its power with it.

All of Khazit’s minions were on the ground.

Overlord - Volume 2 - Chapter 4

Or two gigantic thunderbolts.

She also has fireballs:

The fireball that was the size of a human head flew through the air and blast into the lizardmen unit taking point.

Normally, fire would be put out when it come into contact with water, but this fireball was a magical phenomenon and ignored such common sense. The moment the fireball hit the water surface, it exploded as if it had collided with solid ground, creating a tornado of fire. The exploding flame engulfed several lizardmen— and disappeared. An illusion— it disappeared so fast that this was the feeling it gave. But the smell of burning flesh— from the lizardmen that laid on the ground motionless was definitely not an illusion.

Overlord - Volume 4

And invisibility:

"After listening to Ainz’s instructions, Nabel activated her concealment magic and disappeared. Following that, Narberal finished chanting her flying magic, then no trace of her was left behind."

Overlord, Volume 2

Battle keikaku:

So, I don't really know anyone from your team, but, according to the wikis, Wrath is a super swordsman guy, Pride uses shadows to eat people and Noctis seems to be a swordsman/mage/gunmen.

Anyway, the general battle plan should be Nabe and Dandy starting by attacking from a distance with cards and spells while Neo uses his tk to stop Noctis' bullets. Dandy can also use his cards to block long range attacks.

Nabe can give Neo her sword and let him fight Wrath if he gets close.

@monarch_chronicle: Eh, that's about it. I'll wait for your post to have an idea on what exactly your team can do.

@jucaslucasa: Sorry for the wait, Lets get things started (its going to be light because the gifs I upload wont work)

Wrath

No Caption Provided

Bio and Overview

The Furher King of Amestris, King Bradley is the homuclous Wrath. He is cunning, ruthless and deadly, Wrath is one of the best fighters in the Full Metal Alchmeist universe. Wrath is a legit bullet timer. Able to cut concrete and pin down regenerating enemies, wrath doesnt hesistate to do what he deems necessairy.

King Bradley is the real deal, a human farm plow that simply steamrolls his enemies into submission or death. He is quick witted to, and in this fight with basic knowledge that is important.

He will carry two swords and a grenade (the equipment he used often in the series)

Lastly he sees through his enemies through his ultimate eye, which perceives cause and effect relationships and allows him to capitalize on weaknesses

Loading Video...

Earlier at about 1:03, he blitzes to attack Greed exactly where he is most vulnerable. Mixed with basic knowledge this is a real threat to your team.

Stats and Abilities

Speed

Wrath can easily dance his way through automatic fire, snaking towards the kill.

Wrath is also known to blitz peak human to meta human opponents like Greed and Lan Fan, and from what I have seen The Furher is the fastest combatant here in terms of combat speed

Strength

Wrath casually makes gashes in concrete

Regen

Here King Bradley recovers from a near death state in moments

Loading Video...

Noctis

No Caption Provided

Bio and Overview

Noctis Caelum Lucis is the newest protagonist in the Final Fantasy series. The prince of a city state taken over by an invading empire, Noctis travels with his 3 bodyguard/ best friends as they try to save his homeland, Have fun!

Noctis is a weapon summoning teleporter. He is particularly adapt at gorilla style hit and run tactics (unlike Nabe imo) that also acts as a defensive buffer for the rest of my team should the need arise.

Stats and Abilities

This is going to be bare-bones until my gifs work again but this video should give a you a decent idea of what Noctis is all about (a weapon summoning, barrier orbiting, teleporting badass)

Loading Video...

Basically he is hard to touch. His barrier can defend my other characters or isolate and attack yours and he is hard to pin down thanks to that teleport.

Pride

Bio and Overview

The public mask of Salem Bradley, the fake son of King Bradley, is in fact the first and most powerful homunculus Pride. Pride the arrogant is a devastating force of nature that is always lurking in the shadows. A shadowmelder, Pride can both attack and travel via shadows.

Overall Pride is your biggest threat. He can lurk, listen, immobilize, and strike. And without much warning your team wont be able to see this threat coming in all likely hood, or even do much about it.

Here Pride fights a amped Alphonse (he was wielding a philosophers stone)

Loading Video...

Pride easily breaks the ground, cuts through Al's steel body (some argue the armor is thinner then normal at this point in the show due to the law of the equivalent exchange, and Ed having to repair it so often, others point out that the philosophers stone ignores that law so when Al fixes himself he would not be any thinner than normal)

Ether way (0:58) Pride is strong enough to go through flesh quite easily

Selim also watches from the shadows, and can easily hide or strike from behind

Loading Video...

Counters

Good stuff just a few things in general

Neo

Neo is very skilled and knows a lot of different martial arts. And I mean, a lot.

Notice that he can learn a single martial art in a few seconds. He spent 10 hours there. It's quite ridiculous actually.

Right but its not like he is a mimic or anything like that. He learned in seconds because the program was downloaded into his head. Its not like he will know and be able to use any style just be watching it.

Not only that, but later on he's shown fighting dozens of them at the same time, although he gets overwhelmed by the numbers and has to flee.

Fantastic fight. This alone should make this interesting. I will however say that both Wrath and Noctis are faster than those agents, and Pride can overwhelm Neo but we will get there.

He also has telekinesis.

Which he has, to my knowledge, only ever used for stopping bullets. If this isnt the case show me.

Tubalcain Alhambra

Here it's his fight against Alucard.

I know it's an Spanish sub, but that's the only decent video of the fight on You Tube.

  • 1:52 - This one is tricky. He can either make card clones, and that's the one that got shot. Or he can turn into cards to heal himself. I'm not sure, really. His wiki says it's either one of those.

Does he ever do ether thing again? I cant imagine you basing an argument around this if its a one time showing though. If its ambiguous il accept that but it wont carry much weight (because it's both unclear exactly what happened and how it happened, one or the other not both lol)

  • 3:55 - Blocks bullets with his cards.

To be fair at the first shot she aimed for his cards and he was caught off guard. Im not doubting the bullet blocking that went on later, I am saying he was taken off guard by a long distance attack, he didn't have his cards up from the first (I say this because of Pride, who can attack from the shadows and easily rip through dandy. I will also be focusing on Dandy because I know he can stop regen)

Also, his cards negate healing factors

Important point, glad you brought it up as both Pride and Wrath have healing factors (in Wrath's case one almost as dangerous as Alucards imo)

how long do these affects last? I ask because Alucard regens later in his fight with Dandy (I think its the same fight anyway)

Overall "dandy man" is impressive but I feel as though he lacks any durability to last.

Narberal Gamma

She can easily close the distance with teleportation, attack from behind, then teleport again back to safety.

[...]

Or two gigantic thunderbolts.

I remember her magic, specifically her lighting charge time. Gorilla tactics need to be fast, but Nabe's big attacks take to much charge time, and her smaller attacks are not even bullet timing. This tactic will get her killed if deployed against my team

You might say she doesn't need all that charge time, and she was just toying with him but that is her in character attitude and it will get her killed.

and invisibility

Has she ever used it in a combat situation?

Strategy

Considerations

It is important to remember that my team has basic knowledge and 2 of my team are essentially brothers who have lived together and helped fool an entire nation.

Basic knowledge here means I know their power sets (generally) and their personalities (generally)

Examples include:

  • Dandy Man - can stop healing to a degree
  • Neo - can tk stop projectiles
  • Nabe - is a magic user who casts spells verbally

I will elaborate more if I needed to later in the debate.

Gameplan

Noctis will put up an weapon-orbit around him and Pride while Pride (from the shield) will viciously attack your team, specifically Dandy Man then Neo. Wrath will blitz and engage Neo. Once your team is sufficiently on the defensive (it wont take long) Pride will slip into the shadows and Noctis will teleport to Wrath and help on the front line.

The combination of:

  • AoE attacks from Pride
  • Gorilla hit and run from Noctis (something he can do much better than Nabe)
  • Sneak attacks from Pride
  • Ultimate eye calculating from Wrath (for example silencing Nabe so she cant cast)

All these combined will give me the win.

Counters to your counters:

Neo:

Right but its not like he is a mimic or anything like that. He learned in seconds because the program was downloaded into his head. Its not like he will know and be able to use any style just be watching it.

Never said he could. The things is, he stayed 10 hours learning, while he could learn a single martial arts in about 5 seconds. He should easily know hundreds, thousands possibly, of different martial arts. If Bradley uses a style similar to a real life one, it's very likely that Neo knows it.

He should be the most skilled character here, and he shows his skill in every fight. If he were to fight Bradley, this would be a great advantage.

Fantastic fight. This alone should make this interesting. I will however say that both Wrath and Noctis are faster than those agents, and Pride can overwhelm Neo but we will get there.

Every single one of those Agents can do this:

Super leap, dodge bullets at close range, destroy cars by jumping on them and breaking concrete with their bare fists.

Wrath might be faster than the Agents, but the gap is not that big. Neo can fight dozens of them at the same time with difficulty, and 1v1 is not even a fight.

He's also shown to be faster than explosions, twice. Although he used flight, he still had to react to the explosions and change directions mid air, so this would apply to his reaction and fighting speed.

He should be as fast, if not faster than Bradley.

Which he has, to my knowledge, only ever used for stopping bullets. If this isnt the case show me.

He has used on weapons, and on a spoon too. It also seems that his flight is done by telekinesis.

Although bullets is the only kind of projectile he ever stopped, that's also the only one that was used against him. He should be able to stop certain long ranged attacks, if they aren't more powerful than several machine gun bullets.

Dandy Man:

Does he ever do ether thing again? I cant imagine you basing an argument around this if its a one time showing though. If its ambiguous I'll accept that but it wont carry much weight (because it's both unclear exactly what happened and how it happened, one or the other not both lol)

Well, the thing is, that fight I showed you is his only one. Dandy is a "villain of the week" type of guy. He appeared, gave Alucard trouble, then died. He only appears later as a familiar of Alucard after his soul is sucked.

The bad thing about that is that he doesn't have many feats. The good thing though, it's that you can't really say he won't use it. lol

Anyway, although I said it was ambiguous, I believe it's just regeneration.

Firstly, he was still fighting and throwing cards at Alucard since the beginning. He didn't really have time to swap for a card clone, unless it was a clone all along.

Secondly, vampires like Al can see through illusions and tricks with their third eye. Vampires like Zorin Blitz are capable of using illusions, and Seras (who is <<<<<<<< Alucard) was able to see through it eventually. He should have noticed if it was a card clone.

Either one would be very useful here anyway.

Alucard had just went Level 1, his super op form. Dandy clearly knew about the form, since he mentions Al's Baskerville Dog. He wasn't really expecting Seras to appear there, something that won't happen here, since he'll have his full attention on your team.

On speed, this is what a Nazi vampire can do:

No Caption Provided

That's a random Nazi fodder foot soldier. Dandy Man is quite above him, and should be, at least, just as fast.

Important point, glad you brought it up as both Pride and Wrath have healing factors (in Wrath's case one almost as dangerous as Alucards imo)

how long do these affects last? I ask because Alucard regens later in his fight with Dandy (I think its the same fight anyway)

Alucard only healed when he went Level 1, and was quite stronger than in base form. He's kind of incorporeal and really hard to take down, so it's quite understandable that he could heal. Here's Alucard level 1 vs Luke Valentine.

When Alucard was using his level 0, he used Dandy as a familiar against Alexander Anderson. Anderson couldn't heal after being hit by the cards.

Here, you can see Anderson's regen. It also shows Alucard's.

Couldn't find the fight on You Tube without any song, sorry.

Narberal Gamma:

She has to say the spell out loud to cast it

No, she doesn't. She always says it before casting, but magic casters don't necessarily have to do so. Ainz explains that it's more so that their allies will know which spells they'll use, but saying it is not really needed.

He cast a tenth-tier spell which was naturally targeted on Bukubukuchagama.

“[Ultimate Disturb].”

Technically, there was no need to speak when casting spells, but one’s colleagues would not know what was going on if nothing was said. Therefore, magic casters announced their spell names as a sort of courtesy.

Overlord Prologue - Second Half

Stopping her from talking won't help you.

Even though the spells aren't that fast, she can use AoE spells like [Fireball] or [Electrosphere] as I showed in the first post. And, really, Pride and Noctis seem to be more like the kind of people that block rather than dodge.

On the charging time, I believe she was just delaying the activation so she could humiliate Khajit. Something she wouldn't do here.

She only did it in that occasion because she knew he was a weakling that couldn't beat her no matter what. Here, she's fighting unknown opponents, so she would fight seriously. Even if she wouldn't in character, I have Perfect Teamwork perk, so she wouldn't mess around and would have to help her allies the best way she can.

Has she ever used invisibility it in a combat situation?

No, but she never had to. Like Dandy, the fight with Khajit is her only one. In the others, she doesn't really do anything noteworthy, and the enemies are either too weak, or are her friends and she's just pretending to fight.

There's no reason to not use it, really. Perfect Teamwork means that she'll fight at her best and do anything to help her allies. She can use invisibility on herself and attack while your team doesn't know where she is. Hell, she can use it on Neo and Dandy too.

About the teleport, hit and run tactic, I said that she could do it. It's not really she would do though. Magic casters stay behind the other fighters, and teleporting near would be just stupid. TP will be used mostly to keep her distance.

Counter to your stuff:

Mostly alright, but there's just a few things I don't agree.

Selim also watches from the shadows, and can easily hide or strike from behind

In the video, he just appeared behind the woman while she was walking. Hell, it wasn't even stealth, he just was there while she passed. This doesn't really apply to combat at all.

The place we are fighting is quite open, and he'll be under attack since the beginning. I don't see him sneaking up on my team.

I don't really see that as basic knowledge tbh. Imo, basic knowledge should be just their general capabilities. Stopping healing, tk and casting verbally (which is not even true) aren't really their most defining factors.

I think it would be more like:

  • Dandy Man - Superhuman vampire that uses magical cards to fight.
  • Neo - Superhuman martial artists that fights mostly in h2h.
  • Nabe - Superhuman lightning specialized magic caster.

It's very basic, but still gives you a good idea of their capabilities. What you said they'll know seems rather specific for me.

Gameplan:

The keikaku remains the same.

Nabe and Dandy attack from a distance, and Neo protects them from projectiles and enemies that get to melee range.

Your keikaku is:

Noctis will put up an weapon-orbit around him and Pride while Pride (from the shield) will viciously attack your team, specifically Dandy Man then Neo. Wrath will blitz and engage Neo. Once your team is sufficiently on the defensive (it wont take long) Pride will slip into the shadows and Noctis will teleport to Wrath and help on the front line.

Basically, Noctis and Pride stay behind while Wrath charges to fight Neo. Which is a pretty bad idea.

Since Neo will stay close to Dandy and Nabe, Wrath would have to get close to them to engage. That means he'll be mostly defenceless, something that won't end well for him.

Dandy's attacks are no joke. If he gets hit by one of the cards while charging, he's pretty much dead, since his healing factor will be negated. Nabe's AoE can also slow him down, even though it probably won't kill him. But, while he's stunned, Dandy can finish him.

Even if he manages to engage Neo unharmed, he'll have a pretty hard time winning. As I showed, Neo is most likely faster, stronger and more skilled. Nabe can give him her sword to fight against Bradley, and he's showed that he can fight with weapons pretty well.

Hell, a sword swung by a superhuman only cut his hand a little with a direct strike.

Wrath's advantages are his healing and Ultimate Eye. If needed, Nabe can use healing magic on Neo, or use potions. It's powerful enough to cure diseases and even regenerate entire limbs:

"As Sebas bit his lips, Solution walked out through the door. Her face was emotionless per usual.

“How is she?”

“… On top of syphilis, she has two other venereal diseases. Several of her ribs are cracked, as well as her fingers. The tendons in her right arm and left leg have been severed and she is missing her top and bottom front teeth. It appears that her internal organs are failing as well. There are lacerations in her anus and it is possible that she is addicted to some drug. She has countless contusions and cuts on her body. Considering her current state, I believe that I can leave out the rest…. Would you like me to explain further?”

“No, there is no need. There is only one thing that is important. —Can she be healed?”

“Of course.”

Sebas had expected her prompt answer.

Using a healing ability can fix even amputations. If Sebas were to use his qigong, it would also be easy to completely fix bodily injuries. In truth, if he wanted, he could have easily healed the old woman’s sprained ankle on the spot. He did not do so in order to save it for emergencies and to prevent leaking information."

Overlord-Volume 5-Chapter 3.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"“Ah, you mean them? I am conducting experiments by Ainz-sama’s orders.”

Demiurge was smiling happily, making Albedo frown her beautiful eyebrows.

“First would be healing magic experiment. If you cut off an arm and cast healing on the wound, the arm that was cut off would disappear. What happens if you let them eat the arm that was cut off and cast healing, would the nutrition disappear? If we repeat this indefinitely, will the one eating starve to death?”

“Ah-- I see.”

“Not just that, I let them vote to choose the one to become food, the one to cut off the limbs with a blunt axe. The votes are not anonymous.”"

Overlord-Volume 2-Interlude.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Momonga offered the potion again.

“This is a healing potion. It is harmless. Hurry up and drink it.” Momonga’s words were gentle, but backed with an adamant will. There was also the implied threat that if she did not drink, she would be slain. The elder sister’s eyes went wide and she gulped the potion down. After that, a look of surprise filled her face. “No way…” She touched her back, then wiggled her body in disbelief and patted her back. “The pain is gone?” “Y-yes, it is...” The elder sister nodded stiffly, to indicate that it did not hurt. It would seem that the minor wounds on her were easily remedied by a low-tier healing potion.

Overlord - Volume 1 - Chapter 3

If the Ultimate Eye becomes a problem, she can cast invisibility on Neo. Can the eye see through it? Fighting melee against an enemy you can't see would be extremely hard.

Aside from buffs and the like, attacking those 2 while fighting would be hard for both teams, because they might hurt their ally if they miss the target.

Anyway, it'll be hard for Wrath to even get close to begin with. He's likely to die halfway through tbh.

Against the long ranged attacks, or against Neo, I don't see him lasting long. When he's dealt with, my team will have their full attention on yours.

Now, from what you showed, Pride's defence isn't that great. His shadows in that fight didn't really show enough to be able to block Dandy's cards or Nabe's magic. He seems to be more focused on offence. His best offensive feat is cutting rocks, and armor that might or might not be thinner than normal.

Noctis' defence is actually quite strong. Breaking through it would be quite hard, but once Wrath is dead, they should be able to focus everything they have on it. Neo or Dandy can stop his bullets if he tries to attack from far away.

The thing is, if Noctis teleports to fight melee, Pride will not be defended by him. Neo can stall Noctis while Nabe or Dandy spam their powers on Pride. Chain Dragon Lightning should be quite effective.

If they beat Pride and Wrath, they would just gang up on Noctis, attacking from all sides, until he dies.

Conclusion:

  • Neo would most likely beat Wrath in a 1v1, especially if Nabe heals him or makes him invisible.
  • Dandy would probably kill Wrath before he even had a chance to do that though.
  • Noctis fighting melee would leave Pride defenceless.
  • One thing I wanted to add is that Noctis' teamwork with Wrath and Pride shouldn't be that great. They never fought together, so cordinating their moves would be hard.
  • My team should win overall due to better teamwork and versatility in general.
