IDK. Yeh, this is ComicVine, but I don't like the AnimeVice community as much as the Vine. Our anime battles tend to get heated, but on AnimeVice I've seen them get bloodthirsty and dismissive with genuine fanboyism, rather than debates and reason. I like seeing a few anime v anime battles here and on; they're still greatly outnumbered by comic ones.

Well if Zaraki won before it is likely a slaughterhouse stomp now. But in fairness we haven't seen much of either at their current level. Not that I think it makes a difference in the outcome, but we haven't seen much from Zoro or anything from current Zaraki.
Since the last time we saw Kenpachi he finally unblocked his mental barriers and if "novel kenpachi" is anything to go by then it will be so one sided that it may as well not be a battle.
Now there's like 4 types of kenpachi.Pre time skip kenpachi,post time skip,kenpachi after unohana training,Bankai master kenpachi.I think post training kenpachi could take any zoros for the fact that I odn't remember much of zoro's feats that can compete with kenpachi if holding back has destroyed buildings with one handed sword attacks.I don't remember if he destroyed buildings with his eye patch off or on
Look...Zolo is cool. I like him. But...he's nowhere near any of the mid tier Bleach characters. And by that I mean anyone above high Vice-Captain. I get that he's incredibly strong by now. I get that he's grown powerful enough to chop up buildings and even nearly kill a Logai user in one attack...but Kenpachi even in the rescue Rukia arc could still have beaten him. He beats him in speed, power, durability, and killing intent. Ichigo's slash against that first Menos Grande was arguably more powerful than anything Zolo has done, and that was before even getting Shikai. A much stronger Ichigo couldn't even cut through Kenpachi's skin at first. Now? After his training with Unohana? This is pretty much spite. Bleach characters are just on a higher level of power than One Piece characters. For the most part.
A better fight would be Renji vs. Zolo, but I still put my money on Renji.
@theirishdoctor: Zoro was able to cut through buildings with ease before the time-skip. A Pacifista, a robot he could barely cut at all pre-timeskip, he one-shotted post time skip. He didn't almost kill a logia in one hit, he let a female Logia live cause he held back. We haven't even began to see the upper limits of Zoro post-timeskip. In fact, post time skip, he hasn't even been presented with a challenge yet. I don't actually read much Bleach, so all i know is shit gets real freaky and weird(er than one piece does at this point). but i wouldn't underestimate Zoro just for the simple fact we have no idea what he can actually do.
