Pretty sure she stopped entertaining him about 0.2 of a second afterwards, Hippolyta is as powerful as Diana is and has beaten Hercules in more than one instance:

Hippolyta is nowhere near Diana, even including amps like Gauntlet of Atlas. She beat Heracles, but via her fighting skills, not her stats. Also, she didn't actually do any damage to Heracles.

That scan is from Wonder Woman: Earth One and is not canon. The actual post crisis fight between the two happened like this:

Wonder Woman vol. 2 #1

I don't know what Marvel's Hippolyta is capable of, but unless she boasts outlandish skills, she has no shot of winning this.

@the_badman: Wow, I didn't know DC Hercules/Heracles was that slow. Even Batman is faster than that.

@xlr87t3: Heracles isn't slow. Its Hippolyta who's fast.

DC Hippolyta can lasso a photon and every photon in science is speed of light while being shrinked

@the_badman: What I meant was that Heracles in the scans was moving at street level speed, despite being so strong

It might also be worth mentioning that Hippolyta is also carrying the atom-carving sword Diana later inherited.

It happened at a sub-atomic level where the laws of physics are different. This scan would explain it better.

When Hippolyta lassos the photon, she states that they're moving at high speeds, but we don't know if that's light speed at quantum level. Probably not, c'ause Plastic Man does this:

We know Plastic Man doesn't have FTL reaction. To top it off, reality is going haywire as the probability of events are changing at random (the instance takes place in JLA #19, where a scientist named Julian September breaks down probability by a machine he invented). So, lassoing a photon, while impressive (as Hippolyta says they're moving fast) is unquantifiable here and definitely not an FTL feat.

Respect threads are unreliable and often post scans out of context.

Heracles does not possess super speed like Wonder Woman. Not all high tiers possess superspeed. That doesn't mean they're slow. The scan I posted showcases Hippolyta's skill rather than speed.

Ok but in real world u know wave-corpuscular dualism. Light can be traited as electromagnetic wave or stream of photons. So by logic photons are light speed

@arthurcurry89: Logic doesn't apply to the situation like I said. Probability was going haywire.
