Goku technically destroyed a star and some planets when he and Beerus were clashing from the shockwaves, that should be enough proof to suffice I guess. Also even if he couldn't destroy stars or planets hes able to fight with and hurt people who can do so.

I'm referring to individual powers, not the product of combined impact from two people fighting. Beerus isn't going to be in this fight clashing fists with Goku to create Universe-like shockwaves. He's going to be alone here.

OMG THANK YOU!! This right here is so true! When I say Goku couldn't destroy Planets with his powers they act as if I'm saying he isn't capable to clashing with foes that are capable of doing such things.

But in all seriousness, Goku did punch away Beerus' supernova attack in base and it should be obvious which attack is stronger.
