General Zod
General Ross (Red Hulk) vs General Zod
Zod
Ross kneels before Zod.
Zod stomps. Stronger, faster, smarter, more durable, and way more powers like flight which to he can use to bfr Ross. Also he's not in a sucky book like the black bolts. Superman/Wonder Woman forever. Unless you mean just regular Ross vs Zod if he were under a red sun in which case he still stomps
@tifalockhart: Cheap shots are cute. Very pis too. Much fake. Such lame.
are we including the magic Rulk energy stealing powers? XP
Idk how to add pictures
in the top bar of the text box, to the right of the little link icon, there's on that says "img", then you can use one of the options to upload a photo. I use the url one mostly, since it's easy to google up scans and get their image addresses.
@ghostravage: now i think Ross is getting shorted here... i mean after he absorbed the Surfers energy... i thinks it became obvious that Rulk breaks all laws of logic, So, with that being said, Rulk drains Zod of his Solar/Kryptonian energy which doesnt exist until now... then Rulk goes on to absorb Supes and Supergirls energy... Then Stan Lee comes in B!tch slaps Loeb and says "enough of your sh!t man." Rulk would win
by now i hope you have figured it out that, that was all bull sh!t. Zod wins
How is it wrong if he created the character??
Because it's PIS BS. No character on Rulk's tier should be able to punch out one of the most powerful cosmic beings in the universe. It'd be like if Wolverine killed Odin by stabbing him in the heart. That just isn't accurate storytelling.
Zod wins, Faster, quicker to react, more versatile and much more lethal in and out of character.
Hold up. The last I checked, radiation absorption is largely out of character now for Red Hulk or he simply doesn't utilize it anymore. If that much remains, Zod will most likely pummel him into the ground. He's a more ruthless version of Superman. Unrestrained, holds a massive speed advantage, possesses a far more diverse powerset and is equal in strength or arguably stronger.
Red Hulk isn't a pushover. I can see them both beating the snot out of each other in an all-out physical match. However, I can see Ross gain the advantage if he were to use his absorbing ability on Zod to the point that it'd drastically weaken him, thus making him more vulnerable.
Strength-wise both a heavy hitters. Zod is faster, but Red Hulk isn't a slouch in speed either. Zod's flight is his true advantage, which could enable him to BFR Rulk if he can't take him down physically. And Rulk has shown to withstand powerful blasts of energy, so Zod's eye-beams, while formidable, are not something that Rulk wouldn't be able to withstand.
Here's their true advantages.
Red Hulk= Absorption Power
Zod= Flight/Speed
It could go either way in a well written, non-biased fight.
That's my opinion.
Remember Red Hulk was able to defeat an angry Savage Hulk and can absorb cosmic energy. Tom Brevoort did a Q&A where a reader asked how Ross was able to beat Odinforce Thor and he responded that basically Red Hulk was draining his energy as they fought. Based on this logic it would make sense that he did something similar to Uatu or The Grandmaster when he fought them.

Think of Red Hulk as Kryptonite for cosmic folks.
Ross kneels before Zod.
@kidman560: Looool
@godtriggerhulk: Yeah but doesn't the use of his absorption powers slowly turn him back into Ross eventually? There's a definite price that comes with using Ross' absorption power otherwise he'd be defeating folks far more easily than he could with brute force.

Does Rulk's absorbing ability work on Zod though? Are you saying he can drain the solar energy from him? I hadn't thought about it from that angle. I agree that Rulk is a durable and powerful opponent, but recently I've seen him take too many beatings to make me believe he can defeat Zod. Rulks main disadvantage is that unlike regular Hulk he doesn't get stronger as he gets angrier. I just don't think he is strong and fast enough to beat Zod, who in this months Superman/Wonder Woman issue did a number on a clearly surprised Martian Manhunter....
My theory is that if he's up against a cosmic, then he knows it'd be a tough fight so he drains, but against anyone he deems lesser, he relies on his brute strength? Do I get a No-Prize?
