feats for star heart bigger than fighting DC earth

When Eclipso took the starheart from Alan with Shade's help he used it to kill Spectre and the Presence. That a high enough feat for you?? Baring in mind Eclipso has a bit of power in his own right being the former wrath of god prior to god finding mercy in the new testament

Sorry for the order, it's all over the place. But You get the picture I hope.

Eclipso has always been more or less on the same league as Spectre, serving the same purpose but having his power highly dependent on the host. He used Starheart to boost him and killed Spectre, used Spectre power to then "claim" he managed to cut off God's connection with human, thereby starving the god. An analogy thats extremely hard to buy.

So killing Spectre is partly Starheart feat, anything done against Presence isnt because he wasnt affected directly and resonable to believe most of those power comes from absorbing Spectre's power.

@wavemotioncannon:

A. Never said Alan could do this, I answered a question asking for feats of the "starheart" not Alan

B. That's why I said to bare in mind that Eclipso has power of his own when I repleid.

C. If you look further up the page about 5 and a half months ago I and Alan Scot fanboy posted that Odin wins. If I thought Alan could replicate destroying the Presence that would hardly be my stance now would it???

Now if I were to give feats for Alan with the starheart I would have simply used defeating Mordu about three times.

That's the same Mordru who when at a low ebb and having just escaped from his imprisonment within the Rock of Eternity defeated Shazam in his own place of power.

That mind you wasn't even normal Shazam but the wizard after he had spent days amping in preparation for a battle with the Spectre in DOV.

Even after having fought and lost to Mordru and having lost all the extra power he built up Shazam was still able to give Spectre white a fight before loosing.

Another being that Mordru has defeated several times in battle is Nabu who also in DOV gave Spectre an awesome fight.

Another feat i could have offered was Alan fighting Neron, or when he defeated all the hordes of hell.

Or I could use the feat where he sealed a fissure through multiple realities that threatened teh existence of them ( a nigh multiversal feat)

See the thing is none of these feats are actually of Alan using the "FULL power of the Starheart" , they were below his peak. OP says Alan with the FULL power of the starheart. That is whay I'm saying that it will be a close battle that Alan looses, and have for 5 months and 17 days as per

I don't think it would be a stomp, but Odin should take it in anhard battle IMO

Eclipso killed the Presence with the starheart??? When did this happen?

JLA/JSA crossover during Blackest night. Once Alan regained the starheart both were restored as I recall.

So killing Spectre is partly Starheart feat, anything done against Presence isnt because he wasnt affected directly and resonable to believe most of those power comes from absorbing Spectre's power.

That is completely and utterly incorrect. If he were "always" in the league of the Spectre he would not have been beaten a few dozen times by mere scientists, by a depowered Phantom Stranger, and by the likes of street level characters or mid tier.

The "full" Eclipso would be that power level but we've only seen that version about 4 times. The problem is that Eclipso when he was removed as the presence's wrath had his essence placed in a black crystal that came from Apokalips. This crystal was shattered into thousands of pieces, each piece or shard containing that much of the full eclipso.

The only time we've seen Eclipso anywhere near the level of Spectre or able to battle in his league is when he gathers many of the crystals together. That was not a part of that story. He also clearly stated in the scans that only having the power of the Starheart even allowed him to think of how to do it.

He also never used the Spectre's power at all he can't not without the Presence allowing him to have it. He achieved the cut off of "god's power by destroying the moon which affected the earth and through it broke the connection the souls of Earth had to god. It's clearly all there in the scans I posted ( and that was the whole lot, I didn't leave any of the battle out )

AFAIK these two are the same thing, since the only time he can access the full power is when it consumes him. The Starheart has it's own life force, and Alan cant simply use it's power without using his will to restrain it... which means limiting how much of it he can use.

We have only one instance to counter that. Alan's very final appearance pre Flashpoint in Justice Society of America 50. A god under monument point who had absorbed/duplicated the powers of every JSAer present 9 and it was the largest ever membership. Holt told Alan their only chance was the full starheart. Alan said i can't risk it I might loose control. Holt said I don't believe so, I believe your will is the only that can contain it ( or something like that). The god is threatening the destruction of Earth ( of course) and the JSA is getting whooped. Alan lets out all the power of the starheart and destroys him. Todd ( Alan's son Obsidian) believes his father is at risk of being lost and leaps into the energy well to save him. To save his son Alan draws it all back which then somehow destroys him. That is the one and only time he's ever used the full power AFAIK without succumbing to it ( it taking over)

I havent read that issue, but it sounds like Alan wasnt bloodlusted or morals-off, and had other considerations which might explain why he was able to resist... and of course taking into account his awesome will power. But, if he'd been morals-off like in this fight... what then? Morals-off means he wouldnt care about the negative repercussions of being taken over by the Starheart, and not having to fight it will allow both him and the Starheart to focus fully on the fight, which would really make them full-power.

No way, Alan Scott's best feats with the star heart were posted it puts him around high herald level. Odin has fought with satur, and they were destroying galaxies by accident, Alan has nothing to compete with this

Who is Satur? And when did Odin destroy a galaxy?
