Azazel wins. He can teleport behind him and stab him or cut his head off and he most definitely has the reflexes to react to arrows. Tail is also a factor here in CQC.

Alright. He just teleports behind him and decaps.

Malcolm ghosts rooms full of metahumans and superheros, who's to say azazel even sees Merlyn before getting a sword in his heart.

Azazel depending on starting distance. If its close, Malcolm can close and kill him. If not, Azazel teleports and kills him.

Cool so we should just completely ignore his powerset and display of skill while killing that fodder. Azazel got distracted in his fight with Beast.

I'm siding with Malcolm for now, albeit in a hard fight. I just feel Azazel lack's the proper reaction time.

Az can't lose this. Mismatch. Teleportation is AZ's go to.

@payneintheass: Maybe. I, personally see this being over in a few seconds. If Merlyn had knowledge of his powers he'd have a shot.

Merlyn apparently didn't notice the triad assassins in a crowd, was shot by deadshot, because he decided to stand around and look at the hole blown into his window by an explosive and was ambushed by the league of Assassins. Not exactly the qualities of a man immune to all types of stealth attacks much less teleportation.

Lets not forget a few things in hand 2 hand combat here. Azazel got far higher strength and an additional limb strong enough to chocke or throw people around.

Also Malcolm didn't put early Oliver down with relative ease. As a matter of fact during their first fight a heavily injured Oliver knocked him out, before escaping.

Malcolm has absolutely no experience in fighting with a teleporter. I'd give Azazel the win.
