Morals on, Purgatori. Flash may be faster, but he isn't jumping into this with a lethal mindset, won't be moving full speed right off the bat, and Purgatori could care less whether she kills a mortal right off the bat. A little blood magic, and he'll be her b1t#. I just think with morals on, her regen and durability will be a bit much (regenerated from a pool of blood and survived an unreality wave), and she can easily incapacitate him, which she is more likely to do right off the bat than the Flash is to go to his more exotic attacks, which is about what he will need.

Feats?

You know, one of these days, I'll get scans together. strider92 has some. She survived a wave that destroyed one reality, has regenerated from a pool blood, uses blood magic, so she can posses people through blood, control them through blood, rip out their blood for a one shot, has used various black magics, so forth and so on. Her magics aren't the type where she does incantations and such (at least the blood magics), its more of a at will kind of thing, and is her most likely opening tactic.

Already reading the new Chaos stuff by Seeley. He had an awesome run with Hack Slash, and did a bad arse stint on Witchblade. I am loving his Chaos book so far.

Yep. Seeleys portrayal of her in Chaos is pretty damn good. I wanna see if he does the same for Bedlam next :)

I have been rereading the Chaos stuff (finally), and I have to say, I forgot how powerful some of these characters were.

So, some updated thoughts on the speed thing...Lady Death herself has feats of reacting to "speeds unimaginable", which is pretty damn impossible to quantify. But, she does have feats like a last second reaction to a diverted asteroid (it was maybe 20-30 feet from her when she saw it), which at least gives some basis for thought. The average speed of an asteroid is 25 kilometers per second according to many sources. Converted to miles per hour is about 55923 miles per hour (according to the online conversion stuff). Converted to the mach speed scale, nearly mach 73. And if we are talking Purgatori at her power levels when they were equal to Lady Death...then she could definitely react to Wally's normal introductory combat speeds.

Bear in mind though, these aren't travel speeds, but combat and reaction speeds. Sorry to bump this again, but I was thinking about this after doing some reading today, and just thought I'd share=)
