So, Yama starts in shikai and Escanor starts at full power. Yama gets cut in half, he wouldn't even have the time to activate the bankai. If he starts in bankai, still Escanor but with high diff.

Yamamoto wins with mid-hard difficulty.

i like escanor. but the versatility of yamamoto wins this, even in shikai his fire is OP.

Now how bankai? well. lets see. its first ability, is condensing ALL the flames his shikai can release, into just the tip of the blade.

his second ability? creates a basic suit of armore/Robe around him of pure Heat. His spiritual pressure burns at ~15million degrees. making him nearly untouchable(could be debatable in this battle obviously)

these alone are crazy OP just from what we have seen.

not to mention his impressive physicals.

here is him taking on wonderweiss, one of aizens modified arrancars, with ONLY his fights basically. purely physical,

Wonderweiss is also the same arrancar who took out 3+ high tier bleach characters, 2 of which are physical based vizords.

he is quick and extremely durable.

now i think these would be enough to win this for yamamoto.

BUT i could be wrong.

i don't know all of Escaper feats so he could have something impressive i have yet to see.

Escanor needs more feats.

Does Escanor have new feats to suggest he won't lose?

Yamma-ji his bankai is scaled to Kenny's Meteor.

@marc_55: a shikai patchless kenpachi could only put a dent in huffong, Hitsuguya cut it clean in half. Byakuya became island level, from destroying gerards head, Yammamoto is above both of them.

@marc_55: There is still is a hierarchy, of strength, there was a reason Yamamoto remained head captain. He could not of been surpassed by byakuya in a few days. he was the strongest of the gotei 13 for over 1000 years. Even kenpachi was never stated to of surpassed him. And no they don't Yama's bankai heated the entire SS. His bankai would of wiped out the SS if it had gone out of control. Condom Aizen is above Shikai Kenny, and Yourichi managed to crack his shell putting her at Large Island level same with Isshin, and they are below Yama.

@slayedigneel: Okay, so, we go by feats here. Yamamoto may have rep of being stronger, which only applies to their forms before his death, but they have better feats, and they don't scale to Yamamoto.

Yoruichi cracked Aizen and only destroyed a few city blocks, she's nowhere near island level. Even if she was, Yamamoto wouldn't suddenly be too. She's displayed far better striking than he ever has, some of the best in the manga.

@mee09: Than who? Byakuya was given Royal Gaurd training, so that's not even concrete anymore. As for Yoruichi, like I said, she has better feats.

@marc_55: No, even though Yamma j died, it doesn't mean he can't get scaled from them. It doesn't make them magically stronger even if they trained a tiny bit. Cracking Condom Aizen puts her on Island level, you obviously don't get how attacks work, Just look at ichigo and Juha fight. No Yamma ji can scale to the energy of the attack, otherwise he wouldn't have the strongest zanpakuto.
