Cap. I think the most skilled character Denzel has portrayed is probably Equalizer.

Assuming God will allow it. Cap one shots him.

@xxxcarzellxxx: Oh OK. Well Spoilers: He's blind and at the end of the movie you see the book is blank. It's a film with heavy religious overtones. God was protecting and watching over Eli, AH LA plot armor style. He was still pretty bad***, but if God allow's it Eli is getting one shot.

The book was in braille.

@monsterstomp: I thought it was blank. Missed the braille then. It was God IMO and since the directors left it to open interpretation. There really is no way to 100% lock solid prove it either way, it's left open to debate.

@lukehero: Sure, there was references to God and God gave him guidance but to play the no-limits fallacy by saying "if God wants him to succeed, he'll succeed." is an ill argument. Just sayin'.

@monsterstomp: Shrugs*** It is what it is. God gave him plot armor. Already said, take that out, Cap One Shots.

@lukehero: Even with plot armour, he barely survived a bullet wound. God gave him enough strength to seek medical assistance and fulfil his purpose.

Well just from pure technical h2h showings, he seemed more impressive to me. Plus he had great stealth and was able to take out trained hit men and gunmen as well as an entire mob at the end of the movie. Equalizer was a badass movie.
