Lol. This argument always amuses me. Which nearly all powerful character is the more powerful nearly all powerful character.

Being that both characters are from completely different branches of fiction, comparing the feats of them is in and of itself a falacy. Who's universe is larger? Who defeated more powerful opponents? Why is that even relevant? If all parties involved can do whatever they please in their respected universe (Under the supreme power of said universe obviously) how exactly are you going to gauge which is the more powerful? The fact is you can't. Oh well, nerds will be nerds.

On a side note I feel like this conversation would be vastly more entertaining if we dropped the vs factor and argued philosophy instead. :)

Lucifer and Michael, even being above "infintes of infinites" the fact is that there is no omnipotent being in demonbane verse azathoth could NOT destroy Demonbane so it is nigh-omnipotent, a omnipotent being NEVER fail at ANYTHING , if the author make a omnipotent character fail then: 1-the statements were not true or 2-The author don't know what omnipotence means.

@bluehope: "omnipotence" is not a valid agrument in vs-debates. Otherwise Q from Star Trek will be equal to TOAA because he called himself omnipotent. TOAA is the strongest one in his own multiverse but it may be beaten by characters from another fictional universes who have better feats.

You do all realize that Michael Demiurgos and Lucifer Morningstar are basically DC's version of the "Biblical" Archangel Michael and Satan.

Lucifer alone is so high up in DC that he isn't bound by the morality of Evil and Good. There are no villains or heroes on his levels. If you piss him off enough he will just blink you out of existence that even "High-Level Immortal" Demons never escaped him.

Lucifer possesses nigh-omnipotent supernatural power; he can shape the matter of Creation into anything he can imagine, including matter, energy, and more abstract concepts such as time.

As one of the two sons of Yahweh, Lucifer has incredible physical power. He can basically do anything he wants with the essence of Creation itself, ranging from straightforward reality-warping to affecting the metaphorical and imaginary in bizarre ways. As you might guess, fire is his weapon of choice when he does get his hands dirty. However, he rarely solves problems with brute force. Lucifer's greatest assets by far are his willpower, intelligence, cunning, and gigantic balls. He would smile as you hold a knife to his throat, because he already has a plan to make you stab yourself within four sentences. Dr. Doom, BatGod, and Lex Luthor would nod in appreciation.

Lucifer, in Los Angeles, destroys the quaimas by remotely insta-nuking all the dreamers' souls, despite having no knowledge of who they are. He repeats this feat later in the story off-panel on a much larger scale, annihilating several thousand souls in a split second.

Lucifer's will alone easily overpowers the combined will of an entire pantheon of ancient eldritch darkness-gods who are at peak power. As context re: their power, they give reality-warping ability to every person on earth, allowing people to manifest their deepest desires IRL. Things have gotten to the point where entire countries appear and disappear overnight due to this.

Kills two temporal-manipulator immortals who have usurped Yahweh's omnipotence, by reaching back through time and insta-nuking them in the past, before they gained their power in the first place. While this seems hilariously OP, note that Lucifer is only able to do this under this specific set of circumstances with the assistance of his allies and some magical trickery.

Conclusion: He is a cosmic entity , & seldom acts in either the bad guy way or the anti-Hero Way.

Faq- He would disintegrate that robot by thinking or touching it.

The things Demonbane pounds in their backsides are all hyperversal to omniversal and above. An there is an above to that.
