Sorry I know I'm late in responding but lets be real here. Kaneki could barely beat the human Arima a couple chapters ago. But Deathstroke has skills and intellect that allow him to stab flash so sorry but clear winner here #DeathstrokeFTW

I have only heard, but, didn't Deathstroke have prep against Flash that time (and the entire justice league as well)? This is a random encounter with no previous knowledge.

And also, Arima has been confirmed to be a superhuman:

Human Arima who was explicitly stated to have the physical abilities of a ghoul at the cost of aging faster and having no regeneration. The same human who slaughtered an entire army of ghouls without breaking a sweat. And child ghouls are stated to be 3 times stronger than the average man.

Kaneki takes it from what I've seen of him.

Btw, after TG Root A, do you go straight to Re:, or is there manga in between the two of them?

@just_banter: The anime pales in comparison to the manga, it isn't even that good of an anime in it's own right. You should read all the manga since chap 1, sounds boring but you probably won't regret it.

@getout: Considering that Kaneki punched Ayato through an entire building once and Shachi mad an entire bridge crumble down with just a punch, it doesn't seem too farfetched.

@just_banter: Some of the Tokyo Ghoul anime is just filler that never happened, just read the manga it's superior in every way a lot of character development, plot, interactions, etc. were left out so if you didn't understand some things in the anime it becomes a lot more clearer in the manga.

Gravity Sheath armor was pretty standard in Rebirth. I don't see how anyone in Tokyo Ghoul would bust through that when it was tanking Superman.

@wabubub: Instead of arguing on a technicality, answer me this: do you really think the author of this thread intended for Slade to have that armor here? I find that a little hard to believe myself, but to each their own I suppose.
