Death believes that Thanos is going to disrupt the order of his universe and replace him to impress Mistress Death

As much as I like this battle, it's easily settled:

In theory, Death stomps, he reaps God.

Based off feats, Thanos stomps.

Theoretically, Death obliterates. I can't see Thanos harming an abstract entity without prep, and Thanos doesn't know how to bind him.

But nothing Death has shown would give him such a win over Thanos. Death's Weather Control abilities and so on are irrelevant, but Death seemingly has to power to instantly cause another being to die, which would give him the win.

Well Marvel Death isn't a girl either. It's just how death decides to manifest itself. Beats my why Thanos is so in love with an abstract illusion.

the more you think of it, thanos loving death is also a may-december affair since death is as old as the universe and thanos probably not even reaching 1% of the universe's age.
