Not Surprised they pulled the NLF Bs, they always do that for when they want their character to win, Scorpion for Example, haven't even watched the fight yet, knew that was going to happens, who is going to be in the next fight?

They didn't even reveal the next combatants.

And they were doing so well with the verdicts lately too, Snake vs Sam was right, Vader vs Doom was right, Goku vs Superman 2 was ri- *shot*

I called it. I notice Final Fantasy characters like DBZ characters lose all the time. Gearless Cloud beaten by Geared out Link. WTF!? Now NLF Yang beats down Geared up Tifa... ewk. Also they had Vergil beatdown Spehiroth in one minuet Melee. Screw Attack just do not like FF7 characters it seems.

Tifa shouldn't have won. Though their calcs for her were way off on almost every point. With Materia, Tifa could probably give Yang a good fight, but I still don't know if I'd back her. Yang has enough of a HF to fight for hours and keep herself running. Tifa just doesn't have that kind of endurance, not anywhere in canon.

Tifa is a powerful character, but she's weaker than Zack, which puts her below Spider-man in physical stats. Most of the feats they pulled for her to put her on that level were from non-canon stories. Like Kingdom Hearts, Dissidia, and I think I even saw an Ehrgeiz scene in there.

With materia, she'd do a lot better. She can give herself more speed, durability, regeneration, shields, strength, and a lot more. And if allowed, she could have summons. But barring summons, even with materia she could MAYBE go 5/10 with someone like Yang.

Cloud, however, should have beat Link.

Tifa should had won, she was better in almost everything. Yang got own by ice cream a more experience fighter, and she has a short temper with way less experience at fighting then tifa . Yang was the underdog as a Chihuahua in a fight with a pit bull. The only reason yang won is because the conflict of interest RT, DB and SA have with RWBY

Lets be real here with RWBY S3 on there's no way they would have Yang lose. I mean the DeathBattle itself was to promote RWBY, and well as a small tribute to Monty Oum.

Should Yang have won? I don't know.

It was awesome. Loved watching it. And it makes sense that yang wins. In all honesty the match is a tossup. Either can win. But the animation was really AWESOME.

Best DB ever

I knew Yang was going to win before I started watching, totally called that they would play "I Burn" to signal Yang's victory and that a single hair strand of Yang's would fall to the ground before she went Super Sa-Yang. The pre match and post match analysis were pretty sub par and honestly the animation for the fight itself felt a little wonky and clunky. Their new animator did a really good job on the Iron Man vs Lex Luthor and Wolverine vs Raiden animations but he dropped the ball with this one IMO.

Even the DS vs Deadpool was beautifully done. This one was sub par.

Your not allowed to even mention Goku vs Superman unless Challenge a Viner. Too many fanboys from each side will come.

Meh, I can see some merit to that. Toph has bend a mountain side, held up a huge castle from sinking, and large cliff. Though Garra has manipulated a city bock worth of sand. The only real argument is speed vs versatility, Garra should be faster, but Toph can bend Metal, Rock, and Sand as well.

Agreed except Bats is way more skilled, smarter, more at his disposal, way better strategist, and can detect muscle movement and predict his opponents next attack. Cap may be stronger, but this fight was brain over brawn. But save that battle for another time. Wolverine vs Raiden I shook my head. Raidens sword goes toe to toe with other swords that can slice through a metal gear made of steel like metal. Its not strong enough to cut through adamantium.

The most sand I ever seen him manipulate was a blanket of sand over a village that was small town level, not city level, and the city block worth of sand in his fight vs that bone guy. That is great but not out of Tophs league in what she has bended as far as mass goes. Best part is Toph with a gesture can turn said sand into rock, making the resources of Garra nonexistent.

There is merit to it regardless what Naruto hard core fans think. Garra was never a fast Naruto character, though faster than Toph to a degree, and his whole stick is manipulating one form of earth over Tophs three forms. As far who can manipulate more, that is a close call, and Toph can negate the sand altogether turning it into rock. One cannot overlook the benefits Toph have in such a match up.

@sirfizzwhizz: See the whole issue with the idea that Toph can turn sand back to rock is that Gaara can do the reverse. He can grind the rock back into sand as he does so against Kimimaro in an area that had little sand. Additionally, while Toph only needs a gesture, for the most part Gaara needs none.
