I know this has been done thousands of times, but this is different.

Deathstroke captured Deadpool's daughter Eleanor with no intentions of harming her, just to draw Deadpool out, Deadpool doesn't know. He sends Deadpool a message saying he has 48 hours to get her daughter in a abandoned warehouse. Before he goes after her, he does some research on Deathstroke for 1 day, and Deathstroke just got the mission.

So this is more like a Serious Deadpool vs Deathstroke thread.

Victory is by Incapacitation, Knockout, or Death.

Standard gear by both contestants. But no bombs.

Start 50 feet away when Deadpool enters.

Let the fight commence.

Deadwood ftw!! Lolololol

No but seriously I think deadpool should when only because of his healing factor. Deadpool can be harmed multiple times and be fine. Deathstroke only needs one good hit for him to be out. And remember, this is a Swiss serious deadpool so most likely he won't just play the cartoon punching bag role in this one. He's actually going to use his skill which, remember guys, Deadpool is actually very skilled in combat. I would almost say, just below Deathstroke in skill. But Deadpool's healing factor will give him the win

@eisenfauste: What? Deadpool will be going all out here, when he found out Preston had some news and his daughter was in trouble he right away went to Captain America, Iron Man, and Wolverine for help. He couldn't find them but afterwards he ran into Thor who sent Deadpool on his hammer, so Wade could find his Daughter. Now, this is Wade with 24 hour to get ready, he's going for the kill, because his daughter really does mean a lot to him.

@dagmar_merrill: Prep or no prep he lacks the speed and h2h skill to stop someone who can shake of rpg strikes and grenades (usually what Deadpool has prepped). Not to mention that serious or not he lacks the tactical mind and total focus that Slade brings to a random encounter fight.

@eisenfauste: I'd say Wade is definitely able to keep with Slade speed wise and DP is skilled in h2h enough to give him a great fight. And I wouldn't assume anything about Deadpool's mind mate.

@dagmar_merrill: I know he's better than most people think and in that comic arc he has some great blitzes against fodder, but he still isn't fast enough to keep pace with deathstroke. It takes a high amount of precision and skill to pierce Slades suit with swords. Can Deadpool win some? It's possible if he avoids a decap he may be able to kill Slade but he isn't going to be taking a majority. The prep may help him out but not by much.

Whats make slade so fast? I'm not taking any side yet. From what I can tell people are giving it to slade on speed alone.. and I know he's fast but too fast for wade? I need to see scans..

He isn't? How fast does he need to be? I mean, the guy literally runs between hails of bullets, can dodge them easily when they are inches away from his face, and can move faster than people can even see (replicating many Wolverine feats).

And I thought he possessed a teleporter, too (although I rarely see it used, but if he needs to....)

This is widely touted on the vine but is incorrect. The shooter, can't remember their name, told deadpool they weren't even aiming at him later in the comic. I know what scene you are referring to and he didn't dodge it. He isn't as skilled as Slade in terms of h2h, and he lacks the damage output to take down Deathstroke. Him being more serious doesn't change the outcome of getting his head sliced off, it just delay's the inevitable. Healing factor or not he isn't going to be coming back from a decap anytime soon.

@dagmar_merrill: Sounds like a load of PIS. Scans? Deadpool has never been on Iron Fist's level of h2h skill, not even nearly close. Iron Fist is one of the top martial artists on Marvel Earth. Deadpool is skilled but he is not holding his own against Danny.

@eisenfauste: Well, I'm on my phone so scans aren't coming from me. My point in that was Deadpool is skilled in h2h. He tossed around Batroc like he was nothing, Batroc is a master in some type of martial art that is revolved around feet. The name escapes me but yeah, Deadpool is skilled enough to contend with DS.

@eisenfauste: Naw, Deadpool has stalemated an angry Captain America, given Wolverine good fights, along with his fight with Iron Fist and more. He's not a Wolverine or Batman, but he is top tier in his own right.

Are we referring to the same scan, though? I'll just take your word for it.

Shouldn't that fight (or those "fights") still be taken into account? I mean, unpredictability is kinda DP's thing.

Still though,Wade is so miserably underestimated on the vine sometimes....

@cameron83: Not really. Taskmaster's super power got thrown off by Wade's unpredictability. Won't happen to most other fighters. I agree that Wade is underrated.

So it's more of something effective when facing a specific opponent. But still, unpredictability is something that is not unheard of in his fighting style....although I am not sure about when he is serious (as shown in his fight with Commander Rogers).

I've seen people say that Damian Wayne and Barbara Gordon can stomp him....sigh

And as for this, it's still an impressive feat that he was able to beat Taskmaster. Even with his unpredictability, Taskmaster has copied dozens of other skilled fighters moves. Even if he couldn't copy Wade's, those other skill-sets should have still made it an easy win for him. His memory of other characters' moves doesn't just disappear every time he faces a new opponent, he retains those skills.

The fact that Deadpool won speaks volumes for his skill, because essentially he was going up against Wolverine, Captain America, Iron Fist, Spider-Man, etc. all in one.

Deadpool doesn't really have 'standard' gear. He has that magic bag that carries all of his weapons. I don't mean to sell Deadpool short, but Deathstroke has years experience on Deadpool. Before Slade was an assassin he was a top soldier in the military. Deadpool has a healing factor, but that doesn't make him a better fighter. I mean, he's more daring that way, but that works against him when you're fighting someone like Slade. Deadpool will probably rush in after Deathstroke notices him. Even serious Deadpool uses a more head-on approach. Deadpool can keep up with Slade for a while, but when the bullets are out and the smoke rises, Deathstroke's still standing. Deathstroke can move quicker and hit harder. Not to mention his shotgun-staff. In the end, Deadpool's unpredictability is what makes him so predictable. Deathstroke takes this.

Deathstroke 6/10. I'd usually back Deathstroke for more, but if Wade is serious I see him netting a few more wins. Sure, Deadpool can't die, but he can be dismembered and incapacitated.
