On-topic: not sure. On one hand, Godzilla outclassed him physically and in durability. On the other, Doomsday may be able to absorb his Atomic Breath to become stronger and his mobility is better. However, since Godzilla uses Atomic Breath as the last resort and prefers physical fight, Doomsday is doomed.

Even if the meteorite is " apparently" smaller than Godzilla, it was able to make a Country level + explosion, that was confirmed changed the surface of Earth forever, making the planet no longer hospitable for Godzilla and other Giant species.

Size is not that much of a problem since meteor could be moving at relativistic speeds. And i think its King Ghidorah as its nearly the same size as godzilla and its confirmed that he will appear in the second movie.

1.It was probably a few kilo meters(base on the art of the no-sense-of-scale artist ) above godzilla at the moment,depend on the axis it could hit the ground pretty far away.

2.It could move in different path and if it fragnmenting early enough,could actualy be far away from the main chunk.

3.A godzilla-size meteor aren't causing any extinction level event.

Doomsday is in my opinion much more powerful

@tonymartial: by atomizing him. Can't you read? Whatever pitiful nuke Doomsday survived pales in comparison with Atomic Breath, seeing how it can hurt monsters with durability comparable to Godzilla's own, which is in turn several tiers above the most powerful nuke in existence.

@toratorn: Again thats going to just amp Doomsday. And guess what those monsters best feats are? Tanking a nuke, like Doomsday. He'll just produce an even bigger AOE, over and over again. Doomsday naturally has energy absorption unlike those monster so he'll just feed off the breath. Its a stalemate, they just cant put each other down.

Try tanking country level Permian extinction meteor or causing a country-wide category 6 hurricane, smartass. Doomsday gets atomized, whether you like it or not, and NLFs are not going to save him.

Godzilla

He cannot really hurt Godzilla.

And Godzilla's atomic breath is much above nukes, which seem to not even scratch these monsters yet the breath can kill them.

It's much more potent and I don't think Doomsday can adapt to something of that level.

On top of that Godzilla can kill him by stepping on him. Doomsday hasn't shown any adaption to getting outright crushed. And Doomsday cannot hurt Zilla when nukes don't tickle him.
