Why all the canon fodder? Sentry and Thor are the only factors here.

On second thought all we need are some thugs, Santa Clause, or some stairs and Darkseid will get wrecked 10/10 times.

Hulk is a tank. When you're dealing with a character with the array of powers Darkseid has, you need to be more than just strong and durable, even being the "Strongest there is" isn't enough.

If the rule was "Darkseid can only punch, and Hulk has 30 days to get as mad as possible" then maybe Hulk could solo. But Darkseid has too many ways to handle Hulk.

Well, what one person might call "canon fodder" might still have skills, knowledge, experience, or abilities that might help, especially in a team environment. You can never discount someone just because they're not strong or whatever. Also, it's "Darkseid vs The Avengers" and not "Darkseid vs Sentry and Thor". How can I exclude the Avengers leader from the team? How could I exclude the smartest member from the team? Lastly, even "canon fodder" can be useful in a team fight. They can help to distract the opponent or create a motivation to win if they fall in battle.

No clue, I just stumbled upon it and found it hilarious.

Iron Man and Captain America would be a lot more useful if there was a prep element. Given that there isn't, they'd both be one-shotted.

Avengers don't stand a chance.

Darkseid is to powerfull for any of them. JL would beat this Avengers team easily, and Darkseid manages to fight JL on an equal lvl.

The only real threats are Sentry & Thor. So they would get stomped at the end.

@kangconquers: I see what you mean. But hulk still has the power to do some damage and indestructible showed that he has some speed to get in there quickly. Of course darkseid could just omega beam and kill/erase/whatever it does(though sometimes superman tanks it, so inconsistent).

Hulk did a good damage but get incapacitated.

Sentry and Thor finish the work.

Sentry, Thor, Hulk...could be a good fight in which Darkseid takes down Iron Man, Captain America and Vision, but the first three together could take down Darkseid.

The Avenges may win if JL was able to take down Darkseid or they may lose if Darkseid is on Thanos level.

Thanos in Infinity was overpowered even Thor,Hyperion,Hulk or Captain Marvel couldn't even scratch him and took a scream from Black Bolt(who is able to beat Doc Strange with a little whisper and Strange was able to take on JL which included SunGod which is Supes)

The JL failed to do anything other than blind Darkseid... which this team can't do because they don't have the equipment to. Not to mention blinding him didn't even phase him... well, his Avatar.

The entire JL was just barely able to BFR him with his own tech and the entire team BARELY being able to push him back 20 feet... And the original 7 of the JL would absolutely stomp this incarnation of the Avengers... AND they had stolen New Gods tech.

It will save you a lot of grief and will end up making lots of more veteran posters not write you off as a low post count troll.

Seeing that Sentry is not void, I don't see the Avengers doing anything really.

I don't think they can take on darkseid, working togheter Thor, Sentry and the Hulk (mostly to tank), can give him a good fight, but he could beat them nonetheless.

Thor vs DS would be a good fight, through in Sentry and then Hulk on top of that, he's going to take quite a pounding!

Hulk and Thor would get a few hits in, but in the end Darkseid would own them

The only that works in darkseid's favor tho is there is no prep for the team,, I didn't see that originally.....

Thor and the Sentry take him, while the others are a distraction.

Vision's nano mode would provide a good distraction that is not easy yo disperse.

Just to clean a little of this up... Thanos has never lost to the Avengers. The two times he was tangling with the team he had the upper hand until some plot device stopped him (Disembodied Adam Warlock and Thane, his son.).

Darkseid could beat this team by himself. Only Hulk, Sentry and Thor stand a chance actually causing him harm. That said it would be a long battle and would most likley end with either the team falling back or Darkseid stopping after realizing he has to really fight for a prolonged period to get the win.
