Cyttorak vs Living Tribunal
This topic is locked from further discussion.
The battle takes place in Crimson Cosmos. But keep in mind that Cyttorak is absolute ruler of Crimson Cosmos, so basicly his just like Thanos when he absorbed the powers of the Heart Of The Universe, and we've seen what Thanos done to Living Tribunal. Anyway I want to see your opinion about this.
hmm Ill still go with Tribuneral...
Cyttorak in the crimson cosmos...isnt like the HOTU(the Hotu has power over all realms)...its more like mephisto in his dimension Hell he has ultimate power their but he was still beaten by Galactus
No HOUT has just the power over one universe. Adam Warlock wasn't absorbed by Thanos cause he was in another universe when that ivent happened. And Galactus, Dr. Strange and Nova were all trapped in Crimson Cosmos and could do nothing. For scans you should ask Kenshiro, you can find him in topics involving Juggernaut and Cyttorak.

You can't be serious. Yeah, the ruler of a single dimension is totally going to stand a chance against the right hand man of the most powerful being in the entire multiverse.

Agreed.Tribunal rather easily.
" If it is so easy for Tribunal to win why when he faught Dr.Strange he was invoking the spells of Raggador the another member of the Octessence, who is less powerfull than Cyttorak? For proof visit the Octessence vs Shuma Gorath thread. ".....What?

it better be....oh and while I am at it...

Living Tribunal is the Ultimate Force of the Multiverse.... NOT the Omniverse. Here is the proof.

said:" This is a no contest battle. Cyttorak is insignificant compared to a being like the LT and the power he wields. "
Cyttorak's Crimson Cosmos does not exist in the multiverse. It exist as an extra-dimension in the omniverse. Extra-Dimensional creatures and beings are NOT bonded to the rules by Living Tribunal's multiverse because they exist out side of his power. Why can't the Living Tribunal simply erase extra-dimensional beings in the past? ie: Zom, Shuma, Nebolous, Nemesis, Cyttorak, Rune. Well simply said, he just can't. The best he can do is "push" them away and to possibly confining them someplace, but that really never works does it? Other people summoned to aid the Living Tribunal to do the banning.
Here is a picture of three entities that live in the Omniverse of Marvel
Zom was only frighten of the Living Tribunal because Zom had entered the multiverse from the omniverse. If Zom faced the Living Tribunal in another part of the extra-dimension, the Living Tribunal might have lost against Zom. Do you remember why the Crimson Cosmos was not effected by the Infinity Gauntlet? Because the IG has no power outside in its respected area of the multiverse. The Crimson Cosmos is an extra-dimension in the omniverse. Do you see the green guy to the right? He is the extra-dimensional being known as King of Planets of Pearlious aka Nebulos.
Why
"The Living Tribunal says he will have to destroy the Earth in order to stop the spread. After battling with Dr. Strange, the Tribunal allows Strange an hour to stop the spread on his own. To defeat Mordo, Strange enlists the aid of a creature called Nebulos, who is so powerful even the Living Tribunal can't beat him."
But Strange finds a way, and then needs to go find Victoria Bentley (who was one of the magic users that was activated when Strange defeated Zom - she had been forced to work for Baron Mordo and then went with Strange to see Nebulos, who imprisoned her) in a place that is more ghastly than the human mind dare conceive."
The Living Tribunal needed the aid of Strange to beat Nebulos. (because Strange has the power of more Extra-Dimension Entities aiding him aka the Principalities)
So what this boils down to is that if the Living Tribunal can not defeat the Nebulos, how in the world can he defeat something else that is extra-dimensional like Cyttorak who has btw, showed better features concerning power over Zom & Nebulos?
And this battle is Inside the Crimson Cosmos say again? -_-
" hmm Ill still go with Tribuneral... Cyttorak in the crimson cosmos...isnt like the HOTU(the Hotu has power over all realms)...its more like mephisto in his dimension Hell he has ultimate power their but he was still beaten by Galactus "Cyttorak's realm is UNLIKE Mephisto's realm.
Mephisto's realm is categorized as "INNER-Dimension"
Cyttorak's realm is categorized as "EXTRA-Dimension"
Inner = with in
Extra = Out side
Inner-dimension = pocket realms inside the universe/multiverse
Extra-dimension = realities out side the universe/multiverse
" @Cypher's Gambit: Can Nebulos beat the Phoenix Force itself? "The Pheonix Force is in check within the powers of the Living Tribunal. It is more responsible of what goes on around the multiverse (destroy and create) rather than what is destroyed and created in the omniverse. Of course both the Phoenix Force and LT can "influence" the omniverse in some way, but they are not in complete control of it. Think of it like the Omniverse is outside, and the Multi-Eternity is a house to shelter you from out side, but the Multi-Eternity is not the only house out side. Phoenix can enter any house in the omniverse because she resides in a nexus that binds all these realities called the White Hot Room. Apparently the Phoenix Force rather roam the spaces of Eternity rather than roaming the unknown space of the Omniverse. However, by this, the Living Tribunal allows Phoenix to roam his area of power only if it does not alter the balance. Let's look at the history of the Living Tribunal.
- It takes him some time to over rule the IG
- He gets worried about entities that can 'taint' Multi-Eternity
- He does not want Nemesis to be awaken
- He could not defeat Nebulos under his own power
- He did not want to fight Shuma Gorath
- He did not criticize Genesis nor reject to Genesis' need to erase existence and construct it under his own image.
We are too used to everything in relation to the inside of Eternity that we are forgetting the things out side of him. And for the most part alot of people believe that Eternity (multi) is the Omniverse, and he is Noooot (a hint of Tommy Wiseau). People also make the common mistake to compare inner realms and outter realms and call it the same. It is Nooooot. The Choas, Crimson, Purple, White Hot Room are not the same as Asgard, Dark Dimension, Hell, Limbo etc.. So for people who say that Galactus can crush Mephisto in Mephisto's realm can crush Shuma in Shuma's realm is not right. Shuma can crush Galactus inside the Eternity so inside Shuma's own realm, and no matter how well fed Galactus is, he is Nooot beating Shuma period. And as for Phoenix. Phoenix has been contained before so I see of no reason for Nebulos who is in par to the Living Tribunal outside of the Multiverse to not find a way to contain the Phoenix Force as well.

Living Tribunal.
I believe that Cyttorak was actually a deity/Demon from eons ago that was expelled from earth to the Crimson Cosmos, so, the way I see it, he is not an interdimensional being himself, but just a demon/deity from ancient earth that resides in another dimension cause he was cast out there eons ago.

"Actually that is speculation from readers and characters like the Ancient one. No one but Stan Lee knows the true origin of Cyttorak, but my belief is that Stan Lee created Cyttorak to be this anonymous being with no exact origin. The story of the Ancient One contradicts the stories of the Elder Gods and even Cyttorak himself. That Cyttorak is the entire essence of the Crimson Cosmo that visited Earth 10,000 years ago... Key words, "visited" & "10,000 years ago". Well, if Cyttorak is said to be over a billion years old and is a part of a continuum that has no time, that would make him as old as the Crimson Cosmos witch is older than the multiverse. So, we understand that Cyttorak is older than the Elder Gods because of this, and we also understand, that at 10,000 years ago, Cyttorak actually visited Earth and overwhelmed every deity protecting it/ living in it. Ruled Earth for some time, until he was said to be "mysteriously vanished".

@Cypher's Gambit:
who is that living tribunal is struggling against?
That's Nebulos, and Nebulos is not in par to Cyttorak. In fact, If Cyttorak and Nebulos ever fought, Cyttorak would have won far more easily than when Living Tribunal fought him. The Living Tribunal was desperate in this battle. He needed to steal the Staff of Polar Power away from Nebulos to prevent Zom's power from corrupting the entire multiverse (again). Once he successfully taken the staff with very much effort, he and Dr. Strange teleported the hell out of there. Nebulos and his worlds of the dimension Perilous are NOT inside the multiverse, but out side within the spaces of the extradimensions. This explains perfectly why the Living Tribunal was having quite a hard time fighting him.
