He very well could. He had the skills to be able to tag superspeeding Kryptonians with his arrows.

But, even if he wasn't able to Solo, we also have Aquaman and Cyborg who have both been able to send Clark flying before with hits. Then we have Impulse, which as of yet is wayyyyy faster than Flash and has some combat feats as well. Then we have Martian Manhunter who could EASILY solo. Even without TP he was fast enough to fly Clark to the Sun in seconds in the Season 8 Episode 1 when Clark doesn't have his powers and is shot by Green Arrow. Then the fact that he is powerful enough to have been trusted by Jor-El to take care of the Kryptonian criminals that were considered too evil and too powerful for Kryptonian Prisons.

I thought Firestorm could weaken Martian and Aquaman enough for it to be more debatable and if he went nuclear it could be bad for bot teams.
