Circe vs Doctor Strange

So we have the Witch Goddess of DC and the Sorcerer Supreme of Marvel.  
Both at current levels with all the magics that they’d usually fight with at their disposal 
Battlefield is in Central Park 
 
Oh and please supply some reasoning for your choice :) 

Current Strange is anywhere close to how powerful he was before, so Circe should have a shot here.

You say "current versions" but then you call Strange the Sorcerer Supreme and say he has "all the magic he'd usually fight with at his disposal". Clarification please?

Good battle. They're both good, but I'd give the edge to Circe because I think she's more powerful.

Current Strange is not nearly as powerful as he was as the Sorceror Supreme.

@Mattersuit Since New Avengers 34. The Ancient One gave him the title back after he fought off a team of possessed Avengers. If you're a Strange fan I'd recommend picking up New Avengers 1 and 2 in January. It focuses on the Illuminati and Strange is a member.

Doctor Strange...

Strange stomps, he's now the Scorceror Supreme again.

Why is there such a huge difference in his power with the title? Is it just the resources at his disposal or something? I've been tempted to read some on Strange but after I heard how weak they had made him I lost interest. If someone understands this fluctuation or has a thread that would clear this up I'd appreciate it.

I just read her page and I think Circe can take strange. I mean couldn't she just turn Strange into a Poptart and eat it.

Strange in a good fight. Marvel sorcerers > DC sorcerers all day everyday

Circe. 7/10 rounds. Strange can do several damage to Circe, even beat her, but Circe is UNSTOPPABLE and IMMORTAL... the goddes of the magic!!

Also, DC sorcerers are better than Marvel's. Doctor Strange is the only good sorcerer in Marvel, and some DC's sorcerers can beat him, just like Circe.

@phoenixdiamond616: Like who exactly? Circe can be one, but you call others. It's more like the other way around. Marvel sorcerers > DC sorcerers. Strange isn't some low-tier class. He has gone up against the likes of Dormammu.
