Cheshire (YJ) vs Hawkeye (EMH)

In this battle, Cheshire from Young Justice will take on Hawkeye from Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Who will win?

Standard gear for both. Hawkeye has an extra quiver full of arrows

Fight takes place in New York City, mid-afternoon. Starting distance is 70 feet.

Both are in character. Victory by ko or death

Cheshire. But Clint is a good enough archer to put up a decent fight.

Chesire...a close one...but Chesire solidly gets this unless Clint completely stops her from closing that gap.

@arcus: Well I'm going by feats, when has Red Arrow come even close to the stuff EMH Hawkeye has done?

I'll need to look up some of his best feats, he's not as good as Hawkeye. Doesn't change Cheshire's repeated arrow timing feats

Yeah, which he used to help take down Black Widow. But it's not like the arrows have an unavoidable blast radius

@arcus: Well there's only a finite amount of space in a area, Cheshire only has to make one mistake and its over for her.

Hawkeye can afford to make them since he's a ranged character Cheshire can't since she needs to close in distance or evade her opponent until he is unable to use ranged attacks.

a mistake could be what allows Cheshire to close the gap, and Cheshire's shown repeated skill at closing the gap against archers

@arcus: Yes but no Archer as good as Hawkeye, and Hawkeye in the show actually never missed. (His shots have been intercepted/deflected but when it actually came to hitting the target he never missed for at least 2 Seasons)

@arcus: I think Clint has the ranged skills to outdo Cheshire. I think if it gets to melee he'll possibly be able to use an arrow without firing it. Kust like the GA/BW matchup, a 70 feet distance aids the premier ranged combatant. Even if some arrows are deflected/avoided Clint should have the time and distance to adapt.

@arcus: None of those has her deflecting trick arrows which you can tell by my gifs Clint has quite a few. Acid, Electric, Impact, Netting, Sonic, Explosive. There is no way she's getting close to Clint.

@arcus: Uh which one? The only trick arrow I actually see used on her is a net arrow. Not to mention Clint is a way better archer than Speedy and Artemis. (Hell the in the clip she couldn't even put a tracer on the boat.)

@feartheliving: they're all trick arrows-they don't use the regular pointed ones. Cheshire even mentions that to Artemis at one point. Granted they might not be as dramatic as Hawkeye's. Artemis didn't want to put a tracer on Sportsmaster's boat cause she didn't want anyone finding out about her relationship to him

@arcus: Still don't see her getting near Hawkeye. He can literally shoot near her and effect her in a multitude of ways he doesn't even have to actually hit her. So even if he somehow didn't have arrows that explode on impact (which he does) and she was able to just deflect them all he'd have to do is shoot a sonic arrow near hear mess with her ears then a taser arrow and explosive arrow the radius alone would do damage. The only way I see her beating Clint is if she starts closer and even then I wouldn't write him completely off because he's shown to be quite acrobatic himself.

What would you say is the fairest starting distance?

Close and could go either way but I think Clint wins he's just better with his gear and more experienced than Cheshire but she would give him a fight.

Depends on the equipment Hawkeye decides to use at the get-go and through-out.

Dope fight with two amazing shows.

Hawkeye definitely has a lot more impressive firepower than his DC counterparts; but knowing both characters, Clint isn't going to use the same trick arrows he used on Hulk, and Cheshire is most likely going to poison him right away with her blades.

I've rewatched YJ, and I'll say it goes either way.

Why not? She is faster, she can block and dodge anything he does and take it to CQ where it's not remotely debatable.
