You're OPENLY looking for matches that involve characters like Flash or Captain Cold (or anyone related to Flash comics) and then stating that those characters lose. It'd be fine if you provided an actual, valid reason, but you haven't.

@thetruebarryallen: I am not a troll for posting on subjects that interest me, I posted on subjects that are interesting and have at least 1 character that I'm interested in. I actually searched Google to find these matchups and it lead me to this site. All the topics I posted in are about characters that I like, Spiderman is my favorite super hero, Storm and the X-men in General are some of my favorite characters as well that's why I posted in them. I'm not a troll for posting my opinion, and anyway why are you following my posts? Are you stalking me? I don't look out for your posts just to let you know and you probably post on here more than I do.
If spiderman had some prep he could use his genius level intellect to get around the defenses, but I think in a random encounter his only chances are to flood his shield with water.

Spiderman has no prep here, so the first part is irrelevant.

Sure he has, but not only will it not be his go to move, but anything small will be ineffective since it will hit the cold field and just stop. Anything bigger leaves Spiderman open to a shot while he's lifting it.
@blackestnight93: He could use a fire hydrant, a sprinkler system, one of the water reservoirs in the city that Hydro Man always uses, there are lots of water sources that can be dumped on top of Captain Cold without leaving a city wide flood I believe.
The only issue Spider-Man has is the Cold Field.....IF Captain Cold pulls up that field Spider-man would surely be frozen. However, Cpt Cold isn't going to through up the field immediately because he doesn't know how fast spidey is. In the scan people have posted clearly says he uses that field to slow Flash Down. So why would he do it to Spider-Man??
If Cold doesn't know how fast Spider-man is and just shoots beams....this gives Spidey a quick chance to more than likely knock him out. Now I don't know how wide of a range this field goes, but i'm guessing not to far? If so then Spider-Man can just avoid it and disarm him from a distance.
Either way knowing Spider-Man the moment he sees Captain Cold with a gun he'll disarm him in a moments notice.

Hell, Peter only did that because the gunman was shooting at him, and presumably the other guy is someone he cares about. Spidey wouldn't go fling a bus at Cold in character under normal circumstances.

The main issue with all of this, is that under normal circumstances, Parker has no way of getting around the Cold field. It took someone shooting at Parker and someone he (most likely) cares about to get him to go to the distance of throwing a frickin jeep at him. That was clearly a parker who was clearly pretty angry, if not bloodlusted
