@CosmicSpiral: Yeah, I'd like to see an amalgam of the two, the cosmic powers of the original and the Quantum Magic as well, who knows, he wasn't exactly in one piece last time we saw him, but he always comes back.
I can't believe anybody would so much as contemplate Vulcan being more powerful than Atom. Atom > Vulcan in every way imaginable. I believe Atom could also take Silver Surfer, but I don't really know enough about SS (not a fan) to make an educated guess.
Isn't Atom the DC universes version of Doc Manhattan? Apart from Manhattans perception of time can't him and Atom (and Surfer for that matter) do the same things?
As Vulcan is the weakest teammate, Captain Atom & Firestorm would decimate the Silver Surfer without any troubles after knocking out his partner.
With their numerous versatile abilities, energies and matter manipulation are out of the question as each characters has resisted being tranmutated--with the exception of Vulcan, of course--and having their energies drained completely. Captain Atom's is the real threat here because of his enourmous power scale in crrating an entire world filled with his own imagination. If he could somehow recreate this idea, then his team would surely win the match.
