heres the thing about Madara. even if stats are equalized, he has few ways to finish buu with his regen. Fire won't work, pure damage doesn't work, buu is ruthless when he's pissed, and knows instant transmission so even with equalized speed, he can still move instantly.
Madara has some insane regen/durability, and can even be bisected, so it would be a long long fight, i just feel any version of madara* would tire out much faster then buu.
*Edo madara with rinnegan is a different story. i think if madara was Edo, had a regenerating body and unlimited chakra + 2 rinnegan, and stats we equalized he would be able to put buu down. it would be long and hard, and he would have to probably exhaust endless amounts of jutsu but eventually he could probably manage. especially if he has the full range of sharinigan + EMS + Rinnegan and hashirama's cells. they would then be truly matched, both with endlessly regening bodies and unlimited amounts of energy. buu is just much more limit in his Ki blast abilities and would have to rely on turning him into food.
