Titus is stronger. Alot stronger. Capping out around 5 tons to Master Chief's 2 tons. Titus Power Armor is comparable to Chiefs, but Titus Iron Halo is way better than Chiefs shields.

Lets talk what makes a Space Marine a Space Marine. This video explains a lot, and inside look of Titus.

Space Marines are the Super Human Soldiers of the Imperium known as the Adeptus Astartes. They are implanted with Organs as children to give them super abilities.

• Larraman's Organ - Instant scarring to prevent any blood loss and also helps heal major wounds easy.

• Biscopea - Allows strength of up to 2 tons or more.
• Ollitic Kidney - Filters poisons and gasses that might harm a Space Marine.

• Interface - Allows the link up with Power Armour.
• Haemastamen - Allows for the creation of efficient blood that allows high stamina.
• Multi Lung - A third lung that allows a Marine to breath poisons and even water.
• Lyman's Ear - Allows sharper hearing, filtering of sounds, and near immunity to disorientation.
• Sus-an Membrane - Allow the Marine to enter hibernation for centuries.
• Betcher's Gland - allows for the creation of both acidic and poisonous spit.
• Ossmodula - Steel like bones that can heal fast, and fuses the rib cage.
• Neuroglottis - Grants sense of smell on par of an dog, and allows an Marine to taste the toxicity, and nutritious content of objects, or the air itself.
• Catalepsean Node - Marines can stay awake for days with no hindrance.
• Progenoids - Also known as Gene Seed allows these organs to be developed, and accepted during surgery. They are harvested from Space Marines to make more Space Marines.

This is not all they have going for them. They also possess the very durable Power Armor.

This Adamatium, Ceramic hybrid armor allows nothing short of tank penetrating level weapons to cause real damage. Shrugging off what we in real life label as "Small Arms" easy. It also grants a 25% strength increase for the user.

Space Marine Power Armor tank so much more than Chiefs. Including Bolters which are mini RPGs with adamantium (40K version) tip for armour piercing. Yet Power Armor in lore all the time shrugs this round the size of a soda can fine. In fact the armor at its thick parts can withstand Auto Canon fire.

Auto canon fire huge rounds the size of a sub machine gun. Their is no comparison armor wise. Then you forget the fact the Space Marines have a insane natural durability underneath the armor with minor healing factor.

This is the Auto Canon, and as seen light anti tank rounds having issue penetrating Power Armour. In short, your Terran armor fails in comparison to the Space Marines natural durability, and Power Armor combo. Sarpedon is sporting this, and Titus has an Iron Halo on top of it.

Titus normal power Armor tanks the force of a explosion that trashed the inside of an whole Bunker at ground zero.

Like wise Titus has his Iron Halo, Jump Pack, Power Weapon, and Plasma Pistol.

Jump Pack allows for slight flight, and jet boosted jumps, or bull rushes.

The Plasma Pistol allows for the energy blast of a small sun in hand gun form.

Titus wields the Power Axe.

Now lets talk Iron Halo, the major trump card here.

The Iron Halo as describe is a unique energy field that help buffer psy attacks, and any form of energy or physical blow. Running on the nuclear reactor of the Space Marine armor, this force field can tank as much as much force as a large explosion before breaking down, and needing to recharge.

Titus's Iron Halo showed the ability to tank a near half skyscraper explosion of energy, and free fall to the surface of the planet. At which point the Halo did outright break, and Titus was very wounded. Still that is a lot of energy to drain the Halo completely. Best part is the Halo can recharge with less damage taken. You would need to pour constant attacks to drain it just to get through it.

Lets talk Space Marine speed.

In both scans Space Marines can process and react in a time frame of micro Seconds. The other scan states Nanosecond even though that is very much a stretch. comfortable micro seconds though is Hypersonic reaction time though.

4 accounts of Space Marines reacting and dodging to Bolters after they are fired at them. Bolters which are faster than modern day assault rifles.

Another scan states the hundreds of years of training and experience, with honed reactions of a Space Marine can block Bolter rounds on their arms, and weave around laser fire without ever feeling its heat. The last one is a Astartes seeing a stated impossible fast missile coming at him which he blocks fine with his liquid metal of a arm.

Finally we have skill. Space marines are insane skill, and Titus was 200+ years in his life fighting wars against foes that make the Forunners, Flood, and Covenant look like meek puppies in comparison. Titus last battle was against an Orc Waaagh followed by a Cahos Incursion of a whole planet, and then beats a Daemon Prince ready to warp the planet on top of all of this!

Titus will merc Chief.

Titus pretty easily. He is just better than Chief in pretty much every conceviable way except luck. Chief isnt more than a 2 tonner, and you are kidding yourself if you think otherwise, and his armour wont hold up against Titus's weapons.

Give Titus his bolter pistol and sword only, and I would still argue he wins this

@merulezall: Even by the official lore, MC isnt above a two tonner.Officialy a Spartan can lift anywhere to 3-4 times their own weight and the armor doubles that. That puts the chief around a two tonner.

Cheif doesnt even have feats above two tonnes

Flipping something =/= military pressing it.

Typically strength is judged by how much someone can military press (lift over their head). Chief is pretty close to 2 tons, perhaps a bit stronger.

A newly made Space Marine can lift 1 1/2 tons, pull like 2 1/2, and push 3 tons. However this is fresh from transplants Marines and some Space Marines shown to be far stronger over time and battles like how Abaddon ragdoll other Marines all the time, and noted as a stronger Marine than most. The Power Armor grants a 20% strength bonus to the Marine.

@lunacyde: Hes over it 2 tons, people are relating 14 year old = for life dead weight and so on. Regardless 1 hand lifting 3.5 tons without an issue puts him still within the 2 ton range and prolly higher. Anyway thats just my thoughts. It's already stated their reflexes also increase over time as well hitting a peak along with all the rest of the stats, sadly they dont add up to titus' stuff

As much as I love Chief, he isn't winning this one. Titus is stronger, more durable, arguably faster, probably more skilled, has better gear, and has an impressive roster of defeated enemies under his belt (i.e. Warboss Grimskull, that guy was huge). It may not be a complete stomp though, I could see Chief barely clutching a few fights due to the boltshot and energy sword, but overall this fight is heavily in Titus's favour. Chief could pull off a win against a nameless space marine, maybe even a seargent, but against a captain like Titus he's gonna take a beating.

Chief may be capable of taking on a scout marine.

A regular tactical marine would already take a solid majority.

A captain ?

Not what I was expecting from this thread based on past battle forums threads, but I definitely agree with the outcome so far. I am surprised that there isn't a single Master Chief fan in here making a case for him.
