Does the dark knight have what it takes to defeat the Lord of Lies? Both have 24 hours to prepare! Who wins?
Batman vs Mephisto
"King Saturn said:I dont think so. Mephisto has shown to be significantly weaker outside of his realm... and given the Batman has prep time here... he could easily go to Zatanna or someone like Phantom Stranger for a little assistance here"Depends where the battle isNot really.
Batman gets stomped either way."
"The Man of Yesteryear said:Outside help is allowed in these battles?!!"King Saturn said:I dont think so. "King Saturn said:Phantom Stranger has artifacts that he could give Batman to assist him here... ( Phantom Stranger doesnt have to physically be there to help Batman but he could help him here )"The Man of Yesteryear said:Outside help is allowed in these battles?!!""King Saturn said:I dont think so. I don't really like either of these characters, so I can answer honestly. I think the fight will probably go in Mephisto's favor. The only way I can see Batman pulling a win out of this one is if he can contact someone like Thanos who's pulled the wool over Mephisto's eyes before and tricked him. If Batman can figure out a way to strike a deal with Mephisto and secretly have a loophole that goes undetected, Batman could probably win it. If Mephisto either sees the loophole or just doesn't want to deal at all, I don't see much chance for Batman to win.

But is Phantom Stranger trickier than Thanos? That's the question! Power here has nothing to do with it, in my opinion. If its just a fight of power, I don't think Batman stands a fraction of a chance. Who's the sly one ya gotta watch in the DCU?
"Phantom Stranger has artifacts that could nullify Mephisto's power since he is outside of his realm... I think if Batman plays his cards right with the prep time he could win... not saying it will be easy thoughBut is Phantom Stranger trickier than Thanos? That's the question!
