As long as Bane's mask stays in good shape, he should most likely be able to take this.

They are both intelligent, although Ozymandias is smarter by a slim margin, that is made up by Bane's superior physique. Their fighting skills are probably stalemated, but the Watchmen series was more realistic than Nolan's Batman series(minus Dr.Manhatten), making the characters weaker. Bane wins in a tough battle, and may break Ozymandias' back.

No, this is wrong on SOOO many levels.

1. Watchmen the movie is more comic bookey than Nolans Batman.

2. Ozymandias was physically superior to Bane in EVERY WAY. He is more comparable to Captain America in his movies. He is physcally stronger than Bane, thought not as physically imposing. Ozy was hitting people and they were flying into walls. FLYING. He tossed Rorschach 20 feet across a room, crashing him into a wall. He kicked Nightowl a good 10 feet across a room while Nightowl was in midair doing a kick. He picked up the Comedian and threw him 10 feet across his apartment. He picked up the comedian with no effort at all and threw the Comdedian threw a Glass Window.

3. Ozy displayed WAY more fightng skill than Bane. Bane was portrayed mostly as a brawler. Sure he had skill, but nothing on the level on Ozy who was blocking rorschachs attacks without even looking at the attacks.

4. His reflexes were insanely superior to Bane's. He caught a bullet at point blank range, he caught a knife that the Comedian threw at him. No comparison here at all.

5. Ozy was way smarter. Assuming that it was Banes plan to take over Gotham (highly debatable), it was Ozy's plan to trick the entire world and he outsmarted Dr. Manhattan.

6. Ozy took two steps and leaped about 20 feet across the room.

Ozy is another a whole nother level from Bane. Bane vs Ozy is pretty much the same as Bane vs Captain America. Movie Bane cant beat either.

I think Ozzy should be able to win.He's certainly faster and Stronger than Nolan's Batman.

If anyone could provide me with an explanation of how Bane lands a single hit on Ozy I'd love to hear it.

Until then Ozymandias wins without much difficulty.

Ozy wins... faster, greater or equal strength, greater intelligence. Dont know about durability, but I dont think Bane will tag Ozy.

Ozy tossed a 220 pound man through a window. Bane didnt do anything even remotely close to that. Hell, the comedian was punching through the wall in his apartment. I'll go with Ozymandias. His hits really connected. I'm sure he would figure out it's a breathing apparatus midway through the fight. He could hold his own pretty well against two experienced brawlers simultaneously without so much as a scratch.

Ozymandias, duh. 

Dont forget guys, Rorschach and Nightowl arent trash fighters. Night owl twisted a dudes arm so bad, his bone popped out of his arm. And we all so what Rorschach did in the movie. These guys were taking out common thugs just as effectively as Batman, so their not crappy fighters at all. To be honest about it, you can add Batman to the fight and Ozy could beat both of this guys in a hand to hand fight.

I'm going with Ozymandias on this one. He was just more impressive. Also could anyone explain to me Ozy's bullet catching feat? I thought I read that it wasn't entirely his reaction time that allowed him to catch the bullet but his ability to plot the bullet's path and whatnot in his head then act.

He was also clearly as old (if not Older) than Batman yet he was Physicaly superior and overpowering. He was Brillaint as well in control of his mercs and bringing down the city.

His aggressive style was too much as well.

Silk Spectre II by herself might beat down Bane. Next to Ozy, she had the best super-strength feats in Watchmen, and was a comparable fighter to Nite Owl.

The only guy who even remotely challeneged him. Everyone else Bane beat/killed was either a cop, a banker, a security guard or an executive. Not a lot of combat feats for Bane here. Except for beating up 40 year old Bruce Wayne, who had a busted leg.

Well, I said I wasn't sure but you figure Bane's mask is also a weakpoint for him. Once Batman broke it, Bane was getting his butt kicked bigtime...

I definitely think Ozy's physically superior and more nimble and probably faster, Bane just seemed very durable.
