Atomic Samurai speed feats?

@kenshima15: Yeah, I have watched the anime and I found no really quantifiable speed feats for anyone except OPM and Boros. Going by the anime, Atomic Samurai has nothing which Jack can't handle easily.

But if he has better feats from the manga I'm all ears.

@xlr87t3: To be honest both his blunt and heat durability are much above city level. He has the 700 ton sumo feat, falling off a mountain, Aku's fire which melted a metal shield to cinders barely left a scratch on him,he has tanked a city busting explosion. And of course there's the atmospheric reentry feat.

His best cutting durabiity feat is I think when he took numerous slashes from those Egyptian beasts head on. These beasts solo'd Aku's entire robot army and were casually slicing apart monuments.

Atomic Samurai got done in pretty bad when Black Sperm was able to land a hit. Genos took multiple hits to the face and was still capable of fighting off the army of Black Sperm for awhile. And you know, Genos is commonly mistaken to have paper durability. So by scaling AS wouldn't last that long.

I didn't have time to find the episodes because I haven't seen the show in years and I had chores. I just know for sure that Jack and Scotsman got hit with a giant bullet that blew up a huge area (not quite city level, but multi-block level). Jack ended up surviving when everyone thought he was dead.

I know Captain America is famous for jumping off huge heights and coming off unscathed, but I tend to overlook that because that's just him. With Samurai Jack I would do an actual calculation since he's completely superhuman.

Here's the feat. Haragiri's head should be at least as large as Atomic Samurai's since they were already equal-ish height and taking monster form grew him further. AMM calculated Atomic Samurai's height here. To lowball the calculation as much as reasonable I will only account for the actual slash lines we see, and not the extra distance moved through moving the blade 180 degrees and such.

Speed of Blade - 340.29 m/s (absolute minimum)

68/392.75 = 0.173x

0.173*0.22125 = 0.0382 meters

However, as said above, this doesn't account for each actual movement of his sword, just the parts that actually got cut. He makes 42 slashes, despite me measuring 44 lines, this is just because I didn't notice some extra distance on some lines. So how long is his sword?

@trueaustralian: I don't understand this weird double standard. You lowball Jack's feat using needlessly pedantic nitpicking when its clear what the creator's intentions were. But you go by pixels scaling, which is one of the absolute dubious ways to quantify a feat, to prove that Atomic Samurai is in Mach 3 digits. Not to mention there are not too many quantifiable feats in OPM anyway and I have seen fan calcs vary widely (Boros is considered by some to be around Mach 40-50 while others think him to be relativistic).

Just to be clear I am not saying Jack wins this, but there's clear bias if you outright dismiss his feats but claim a side character from a series with an exaggerated animation style and basically one legit feat stomps Jack.

@shirso: Even without pixel scaling, AS stood up from a sitting position and swung his sword 40 times in the time it took a supersonic blade to clear a couple inches, that makes him wildly faster than supersonic. You can claim creator intent all you want, but the fact is you don't know what the creators intent was because its never stated by the creator.

Recently Atonic Samurai blitzed a mach+ opponent effortlessly.
