Not familiar with Beast, but, for some reason, I feel that he's offense isn't getting through ASM's durability.

@tparks: Beast is not that good, ignore his on paper stats. He has had trouble with Captain America level characters.

@lukehero: I don't ever look at paper stats for this stuff. He's also done well against characters in weight classes well above the low street level characters you mention. I'm not even much of a fan of beast, but he has a bad rep on this site. Im not claiming that he wins this match, because if I picked a winner, it would be AWM for a solid majority, but Beast could make it a fight having his morals off per the OP, and the strength level to match AWM.

He could also get ripped to shreds near instantly, which I do consider very possible, I just think there's still potential for more of a discussion in this thread, while still agreeing that AWM should win.

@tparks: He's done fairly poorly against lower characters. It's not that he has a bad rep, it's that any beast convo is usually a wash because he has had mixed results under different writers. And I don't mean on the fringe writers either I mean long respected XMen writers. For every time he gave Wolverine or Sabertooth a good fight, people will pull up legitimate examples of him being owned or struggling with lesser characters. AWM is very consistent and stomps beast 10/10.

@lukehero: Fair enough, but he still does have quite a few feats that counter some of his lesser showings.

Like Knocking Out Frenzy, who does have pretty high levels of durability.

Knocking out Wonder Man

And putting up some nice fights with Juggernaut.

Granted, these are all older feats, but Beast doesn't really have a ton of one on one battles, and the ones he does have he's usually out of his element, like in "Beast" Beast mode.

I still agree AWM wins, I just see reasons why this could be a good fight.

@tparks: Hey I've argued in favor for beast before, I know his bad*** feats, then somebody shows him getting his *** handed to him by some peak human or just above peak human. Honestly that WM feat was PIS, even back when Wonder Man was a weaker nobody that still wouldn't have made legit sense.
