Agent Venom was sent by The Government to take out Aquaman, but with the intel Aquaman receives from Cyborg, he is now quite aware that he's being hunted.
What kind of booze are you pouring in the goldfish bowl ? Agent Venom for the win'em . it rhymed. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Fishy is final getting the recognition he deserved. remember back in the mid-nineties when he lost his shit, got the hook arm and was total bad ass ? Why did they do away with that ?
@iLLituracy: Aquaman is considered class 100 and one of the strongest superhuman beings in the universe, controversial but somewhat agreeable. He has been depicted to lifting submerged tanks, oil rig platforms, city blocks, and cruise ships; however this is before New 52 and is thought of as irrelevant. Aquaman is very skilled in hand-to-hand combat and has been able to knock Supes off his feet with one blow, flying him through the water and exchange blows with Wonder Woman; having mentioned this he is unarguably matched up to these brute powerhouses.
Although, Aquaman is also shown to be a great tactician and should have a strategic advantage if all goes wrong. He can telepathically call upon the monsters of the sea to help in battle as well as summon tidal waves and lightning bolts from his trident. Aquaman is also very tactical and unorthodox with his trident. His trident has the strength to break through Graves' magical ice barrier, pierce Darkseid, and hold up the weight of a huge vehicle. He's been depicted of using his trident to defeat Darkseid and being the only leaguer to actually cause him to bleed out, also crushing lots of parademons' heads in the process; compared to Wonder Woman's feats, at the time. Aquaman has also used his trident in his battle against the talons, Black Manta, the Trench and Atlanteans which he successfully came up on top in each battle.
Being able to withstand the immense pressure of the ocean depths, his skin durability's tough enough to be invulnerable to extreme gun fire, heat, and sharp objects. If Venom wants to take a piece of Aquaman, he's going to have to try really hard first; and if he does inflict damage with his Multi-Gun weaponry or sharp teeth, his tough skin durability and outstanding immune system makes him invulnerable to practically any gunfire, heat, poison or toxic.
Aquaman's speed is also substantial, being depicted to reach up to 1000 knots, having dodged multiple arrows at once in all directions, chasing class-7 sting ray missiles, and even outswim The Operative's special plane that can reach hypersonic speeds greater than Mach 10. His speed and reflex senses are beyond compared to in the water.
Here are some scans of his enhanced speed and reflexes, but are in-valid in this battle.
Here's more irrelevant scans, but shows the full potential of Aquaman's strength and abilities.
Did I fill you in with what you wanted to know yet? ^_^
@ckuakini: Yeah, no, that's more than enough. I don't know what Venom could do to hurt Aquaman. I'd have to think on it, but Aquaman really strikes me as above street-level.
