2nd round IG plus 1 month prep?? Thanos will use the help of the 7th gem to cross-over to the Ultraverse, use the mind gem to search the for something as powerful as the heart of the universe. then he stomps

depends which AM in round 1,round 2 hes gonna stomp whoever.

2. Thanos (especially post-Imperative)

Since no version is specified, it should be the most recent Anti-Monitor. In that case, Thanos wins both rounds. If it were COIE Anti-Monitor, then the Monitor wins.

The gems are the remains of a once omnipotent being of the ultraverse, whose domain was any and all realities. This great being was also utterly alone. This being attempted to create life forms, but the life forms lacked the concept of good or evil, and devolved into demonic beasts. Realizing its error the being destroyed its flawed creations. Once again alone and unable to bear the eternal solitude, the being committed suicide.

The Gems, in Thanos's hands, did NOTHING beyond universal. Anti-Monitor was already the equal of the Multiverse, before he began to power up. AM>ThanosIG.

I am shocked everyone is saying COIE AM wins, unless otherwise stated we use the most recent version right? Recent version would be the sinestro war AM, who gets stomped all over.

But even i think COIE AM would win, unless thanos is smart enough to think power gem + mind gem = unlimited mind rape potential, something he never tried.. strange.

Actually the most recent version of the Anti Monitor would be from Brightest Day, where he was in the AM Universe.

The IG allowed thanos to defeat everyone up to but not including OAA. He wins.

AM defeated everyone in countless universe's to whatever level it goes up to in each universe because those universes no longer existed. AM wins. This isn't even a competition.

Thanos can destroy the universe and create it back with no prep-time at all. That's what the IG is for.

@Killemall: Mea culpa. And OAA and LT. Still say IG takes out AM. He isn't quite as abstract as some of the marvel beings.

COIE AA is not abstract and the multiverse works differently in DC contrasted to Marvel.

The only abstract who's got feats show he's on COIE AM level would be The Chaos King. Dont think Thanos feats put him above CK to be honest, specially given the fact that they retconned IG as having an extra gem and being only a portion of Nemesis powers because apparently the gems are spread through alternate realities and only when all the gems are brought together you would truely be as powerful as Nemesis, who i would have argued is more powerful than COIE Anti Monitor.

The Multiverse had an infinity amount of universes prior to COIE, Anti Monitor reduced Infinity to five. Even if they were smaller weaker universes [and really, arguing on the strength of a universe is retarded] the fact is there were an infinity amount of them.
